How to be an Affiliate for Large Items? Amazon?

Say you want to have a website on something large that people can't order through amazon?

I know you could have a webpage with lots of adsense all over it.

How might you go about marketing large items such as pools, giant windmills, tennis courts...etc....

Your question is far too broad to warrant an answer at all.

Do you currently have a store selling pools, giant windmills, and tennis courts and are trying to build an e-commerce platform?

Are you trying to be an affiliate of such items?

Most importantly: Do you understand that tennis courts, windmills, and pools(except for inflatable ones) are not single items you simply buy and have shipped to you?

In my experience, the process for selling a $5 ebook, as opposed to selling a $1,000 product is EXACTLY the same.

PS. I dont know why you mentioned Adsense? Seems totally irrelevant to the question.

I am using these as examples of items...not of the items themselves.

I mentioned ad-sense because I wondered if this was the only way to monetize a site geared around such items.

Say you have a site on: Pick Up trucks, or something else large. People do not order these online and have them shipped. However, they do search for them online.

Since you cant buy a landrover from Amazon or an infinity pool, is adsense the only way to monetize the site.

You're asking 2 different questions here.

    1. How to sell high end priced items as an affiliate
    2. MFA websites

    Which is it?

if you are talking about selling stuff where the sales process is not completed online, you are really just talking about using a website for lead generation.

you would give some info on your site and say "to order, fill in the form and we will contact you"

many big ticket items like the ones you have mentioned are usually sold on quotes, not necessarily fixed prices.

if you are talking marketing such things as an affiliate, there are many companies in many big ticket item niches that will pay for the leads you can generate.

Well your question is a bit tough to answer. It is very variable. First off, when you are promoting items of that nature, you shouldn't rely on Adsense. Often times I use Adsense as a temporary way to monetize my website(s) until I can find something better.

Let's say you find a seller of "giant windmills" (props if you do). You should approach the seller and offer to promote their service and product line for a commission. Developing a program that would allow you to get paid for every lead or for every sale would be a good way to go. I would recommend pay per lead because it is easier to track.

You would have to deal directly with the developers of such products and you would have to develop a custom program for them. It can be very lucrative. Doing this kind of work is not like Amazon's affiliate program. It is a bit more complicated
