how can i find out my articles uniqueness

i found a site a while back but i cant seem to remember where it was.

i've wrote an article, but to get me going i got some ideas from a couple of articles but rewrote it in my own words.

if there a free way of copy/pasting my article in and finding out how unique it is.

If I correctly understand what you are looking for... you can copy paste, maybe 15-20 consecutive words out of your article, into your browser, (remember to put quotes before and after) "your copy here" . Or alternatively you may try copyscape--- .com

Copyscape is the most widely used and generally accepted service, you can't go wrong with it.

i had an article lingering on my pc, so i tested it in copyscape premium.

can someone give me some advice on it, i pasted it in and says the word count checked then a percentage. lets say i rewrite an article, whats the highest percentage that is acceptable to use. i hope this makes sense

Personally, if I find ANY trace of someone else's article in my copyscape results (ile. if I use PLR for example), it's not acceptable. Unless the other articles are mine too of course.

If there are areas that seem to come up as duplicates, I just keep rewriting mine
          until it's completely clean..

Then again, sometimes there are pat phrases that everyone uses, and that's a bit
          different, but still...

so basically i have to have no matched results below where it says compare text next to it, and if it does, and have a few matched words just try and rewrite them.

            thanks very much

          Hi raylee1,

You are no doubt referring to the percentage of copied text highlighted by Copyscape every time you run a scan.

Ideally, you would want the percentage to be zero as search engines hate duplication, so in a case where you're rewriting articles, be sure to change the sentence structure and words used.

Try this: take the original article, run a Copyscape scan, copy and paste the highlighted portion of text into the page of the article you're working on. Next, assuming that you're using MS Word, use the 'find' function to highlight the identical text. Edit the text highlighted by 'find' function by using relevant synonyms and changing sentence structure. Now run it through Copyscape again and see if anything is still highlighted. If so, repeat process. Keep in mind that you pay 5c per scan, so make sure to change the highlighted text totally to save some bucks.

Better yet, write unique content every time. This works best. Hope this helps.

          Cheers!

I think you didn't understood the question exactly...lol

Bestspinner is used to make unique version on your articles, but I am not sure these kinda articles still work in the long run. Even if you are using that make sure its 70-75% spinned to get sum nice results.

Take few sentences from your article "sentences" google it.
The best way is to use Copyscape

The simplest way to prove your article is unique or not, just cope few sentences to Google.
This is the easiest way and the best way.
