2 Questions Re buyersrefunds

Does anyone know if Clickbank et al keep a list of buyers who have a history of asking for refunds?

In society, a very small percentage of the population are responsible for the majority of crimes, and I have a feeling that the same is true when it comes to refunds.

Second question - is there any way to render a digital product unusable once it's been delivered, maybe by allocating a password for access that can then be nullified?

the major problem with being able to "nullify" infoproducts is that as long as something is readable on a screen, there will always be a way to save it, convert it, etc, with some sort of program. The same goes for music protected by DRM...

so in theory, yes, it would annoy people who are constant refund-askers, but not long after such technology is widespread will it be cracked

Whoops. Harvey beat me to it.

Re protecting your product... there are security programs that enable you to do that. I use DLGuard (Sam Stephens is a Warrior) and it works great - easy to use once you get the gist of it. And it's reasonably priced.

Oh. Sorry. I misread your question.

There are other programs that allow you to put pass codes on downloaded ebooks and other security features. Sorry I can't offer any recommendations, but maybe if you run a search for something like, secure ebook creation software, or something.
