Clickable Link From Word To PDF

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Guys

I know there's a simple solution to this but when I create PDF's from word none of my hyperlinks remain clickable! I'm using free primopdf.com and wonder if I need the paid version to do this

Any advice?

You can use OpenOffice.org - It is a free Microsoft Office alternative and it exports to PDF. In your document, make sure you are setting up the hyperlinks properly - It is really not much different than the web, so check the help section, maybe you are missing something

Hi there,

use Garrett solution i.e openoffice. it will work well .. never use primopdf so i am noty sure.

The ONLY solution I've found is to use a PDF compiler that places a "macro" inside of WORD itself. Whenever I create a PDF all of the links are automatically clickable. Even the "Click Here" links.

The program I'm using now is: Print2PDF

How It Works

Once you install it, there will be a little PDF icon inside the "Add ons" tab of word. Click that and it will preserve all of your links in the PDF automatically.

  in my experience, i started out just trying to get links clickable.
  
  then i wanted to be able to make a link appear a certain way (ie. ww w.mysite.c om but point to a slightly different url (ie. ww w.mysite.c om/trackingurl)
  
  the only software that worked for me was called nitropdf
  
  if this is what you're trying to do and you don't want to switch from precious m$ word, go with nitro

+1 for OpenOffice... I haven't used MS in years.

Not only does it retain the clickable links in PDF, but you can do cool formatting stuff AND you can enable security when you create a PDF so no one can copy/export your data.

Just download OpenOffice - it's free and you don't need another pdf converter. It's also a good MS Office Replacement.

Google Docs allows you to do this and its easy to use! You can just save the document as a PDF, links all there!
