When your blog gets lots of visits but from no referrer, does that mean that you're getting found in search engines?

  • Nope. Search engines show referrers.

    No referrer indicates one of several possibilities:
    • Link from Pop Email software, but sometimes shows up as C:\Users\etc....
    • Bookmark;
    • Someone typed your url directly into their browser;
    • Someone accidentally typed your url into their browser.
