Embedding FLV file to HTML Site

Okay, I'd done this 100 times, and never works

In the past I have used the Wordpress Plugin, or for html
pages, Xsitepro2, which converts and puts it on your page.

Now, I'm trying to put a flv video on a html page, and I'm
using NVU.

I have my video converted to .flv.

I have a flvplayer.swf file

I have uploaded both files to mydomain.com/video

I have taken the <object> code and put it into the source code.

Every time, it still does not work.

Is there something I'm supposed to do with JavaScript code in the
header section?

Does anyone have any advice here? I know there are some video wizards.

Double check your code, and keep it simple:

<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="350" wmode="transparent" data="flvplayer.swf?file=**vid location**&autoStart=true"> <param name="movie" value="flvplayer.swf?file=**vid location**&autoStart=true" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> </object>
Also - try check the HTML in a text editor to make sure NVU isn't messing with it.

Also - check your path names very carefully... thats probably what the issue is.

If you still have trouble - post the link to the page and the code you currently have... that makes it easier for someone to help you.

Thanks. The problem I was having, which a Warrior PM'd me, was that my xsitepro html site had two tables, and my Nvu html site had only 1 table.

I made a new table inside the Nvu table, and inserted the code, and it worked.

I didn't think adding a embed code was table sensitive.
