Creating your own product

I know that creating your own quality product is much better than trying to sell other's.
Think of a person who has no remarkable interest or expertise in any field. Can he still achieve it?

Yes: hire a coder to create a software that you can sell or hire a ghostwriter to write your genial ebook

Warning: in both cases you still need to do your part - market research BEFORE getting into it!

If you've got the cash, you can outsource everything... There's even people here that'll do it for you.

I remember hearing a story from Russell Brunson one time about someone with a situation like yours. They ended up contacting a friend of theirs who knew how to make hair bows. The result? 6 figures a year.

Someone in your life is talented at something and has information that people would pay for. You just have to find it.

These guys are certainly telling you good information. For me...I spent the last 6 months learning about SEO stuff. Finding out what works and what does not. Now I am writing my own Ebook.

If you think a little longer term and focus your goals on learning about something...you will become the expert perhaps.

Good luck in your search for success!

Mate, Everyone can do ONE thing at least, better than most people. maybe your the most efficient person at hanging out washing?

    That's a product.

I'm sure if you sat down with an old fashioned pen and paper, you could list at least 5 things you have an interest in.

Breathing and eating are 2 I can think of, if you have any tips in these area's create a product, or sketch out an outline and bring in the outsourcers.

I hear many people say, i am Not good at anything. BS!

You have talents, you just need to acknowledge them and let them grow into a product.

    Think Positive, mate.

Absolutely you can create a product! All you really need is the well thought-out idea. You can hire programmers to create plugins or software, or hire people to write content for you. Just be sure you are providing your customers good value.

You know something that I don't, then. I think the opposite.

For me, the advantage of selling other people's products (often for 75% commission) is that I can build up a real, asset-based business which brings in gradually increasing residual income without its continued success, sustainability and expansion being dependent on the success and longevity of any individual, specific product at all, without the need to offer much customer service/support, without the need to do any product research and development, without the technical problems, without the outsourcing, and so on. I like the flexibility and relative freedom from hassles and risks that that gives me.

The real money is in sales and marketing through established networks, not the products per se. I have no inclination, talent, patience, nor want the associated headaches that come with creating my own products. Being a simple kind a guy, there's always a never-ending supply of vendors for new stuff when the old stuff fizzles out.

I've felt the same way in the past. As previous people have said, you just have to realize that there is something that you're great at that people want to learn. Also, think about where you started, and what questions you had. There are still people at point 1 that have those same questions that you've learned the answers to. Software is a good option as well. I've been playing around with uBot and it rocks. Either way, research can take you a long way with a product. If not for producing software or a "method" style of ebook...then to have a product that acts as a resource for something (The best gigs...best outsourcing sites...and so on). You could JV with someone as well to learn.
