What Are You Doing TODAY To Make Money?

I have talked and corresponded with many warriors and all the successful ones have one thing in common: they all do at least one thing to make money each and every day!

Yes, yes, I know this is basic, blah, blah, blah... Hear me out! The bulk of the complainers out there don't do things to make them money! Buying a WSO does NOT count as money making! Reading the latest Guru written ebook does not put money in your pocket. Replying to this thread with one-liners doesn't make you money. Reading your emails, chatting on Twitter, Skype or any other IM doesn't make you money. Sit down and think: What can I do RIGHT NOW to make money?

Here's an idea: Go to your CJ or Clickbank account, pick a product you like and write a nice review about it on a free Blogger Blog. Use your aff. links or re-direct to your site with link cloaking of your choice. Then go over to Digg, SU, Propeller, Reddit and bookmark it.

What if you did that every day? A year from now, you'll be telling me how you have hundreds of websites earning you money. You can click on the thanks button now, save you some time

Before you ask what I'm doing now to make money, I'll tell you. I contacted a few members here for a JV of my new product. I wrote an email announcement for my new membership site. I wrote some new articles for the new site's content. The day is not over.

I also did some giving back by answering the PMs of some fellow warriors.

So, how about it? What are YOU doing to MAKE MONEY today?

TomG.

PS - STOP reading this and go out there and do SOMETHING to make money TODAY!

Okay, I sent off 9 autoresponders, did research so I can write 2 [min] opt-in boxes for her website.

I contacted 3 people in our Southern Maryland Traditional Music and Dance group regarding a publicity article I wrote for them - they needed ideas about publishing it. I also offered to do an opt-in and autoresponders for them using their website. Since this is a group I play my harp and fiddle with regularly, I have a strong interest in keeping it alive - and increasing its popularity, in fact.

I've also made a list of small businesses in the area that I want to contact regarding use of an opt-in list-building process.

    Does that work?

        The list for today is:

I'm building a new blog on an old domain that wasn't doing anything. Setting up some new freebies on some of my sites to build my list. Got 2 new product reviews ready to submit to directories. Redesigning my main article directory and looking at monetising it better - suggestions appreciated. Might do a bit of work on an ebook I'm writing, but then I might watch Eastenders instead.

    AHha!

Well, TomG, Today I'm going to look through NeverblueAds, since I was accepted yesterday, find offers with no limitations on how I can promote them, gather maybe four or five, and set off towards the blogs and craigslist.

Possibly 2-3 posts on CL per product/offer I'm promoting, as well as a blog for each one.

Then, I'll need to write new articles for the next few days, and upload them every other day to the blogs.

When I've done what I can of that today, I'll set to work on fixing up my own Newbie IM product, and possibly get it up in a WSO by Friday Night.

Thats what I'm doing to make money.

Well, first I worked 8 full hours on my job to earn my daily bread.

Then I came home and wrote 2 new emails for my autoresponders,
created 2 new ecovers for my give-away reports and made
some deep keyword research for my new niche website project.

I use to open my email client first when I've done what I planed
for today. When I opened it I found 2 emails about 2 sales:
one at $167 and another one at $37.

Finally I came to warrior forums to check wsos and put some
questions of importance for me in the main discussion forums.

I have one more hour before I go to bed and I think I will spend it

Today I updated an affiliate page for one of my niche products, contacted a few websites about promoting for me, posted a JV request in this forum, followed up about another warrior's JV request, and contacted someone about the possibility of purchasing a website from them.

The affiliate finding has ALREADY resulted in 1 affiliate sending 18 sales my way so far in the past lot of hours.

I've enjoyed every minute of all of this.

And I'm just about to add a follow up to one of my autoresponders.

      I spent:

I spent most of the afternoon looking at a few wso's i just purchased and trying to figure out how it's all going to fit together. I spent most of that time signing up as a JV, bought a domain name, put finishing touches on a new product.

      I have:

I have a business plan, I have every single launch known to man in my hard drive, and I have every physical thing that I need.

      I want:

To narrow it all down and put it all together by the end of the week into a cohesive plan. Otherwise I have to change my WF name to Procrastination Chick. Huge info paralysis, but I'm getting over it.

Just got off the phone with my Marketing Manager from Neverblue, and I realize I need to make at least $25 before Saturday.

Now, I need to do this so I can get paid by next month the 15th. Simple, non? Who can't make one person sign up for a $30 offer? That would most likely ensure me to get my check.

Minor complication, with them being Net 15 an all, but with my plan from before, I should have at least a few signups by the time Saturday rolls around.

Also! Gotta ping and social bookmark all the blogs I create for the products, big thing to help drive traffic and get sign ups. Totally forgot about that.

First, this is a great subject. People need to realize that you have to take action in order to make it online. It took me a very long time before I started taking IM seriously. I used to read and read and think about how great things could be, and product ideas. But I never did anything!

Now, it's been two years since I started looking at internet marketing. I've had a little motivation recently and I have learned that I just need to make it happen. Right now I am developing my first product and website so there's lots to be done. I am:

      1. having 2 software products developed for me over at rent a coder
      2. writing my first ebook (I'm not a writer so this is a hurdle =)
      3. designing the web pages I will need to put my site together.
      4. writing the sales copy (another hard one)

I have a to do list that I keep moving down. And I have to admit it's hard not to get distracted. And of course here I am writing a forum post...Back to work!

        3. Wrote product review for same blog.
        4. Made squidoo lens to link to blog.
        5. Research on internet to find out why I cannot get "go codes" working on another blog. -problem not solved yet.
        6. Upgraded older blog to wordpress 2.7 and added additional plugins.

It is now 1am so time to make myself a cup of tea and to check my adsense and affiliate stats and email accounts.

It's taken me a l-o-n-g time for that concept to sink in! What I've been doing lately to make money is writing (and writing and writing and writing), otherwise known as "product creation".

AND I've been keeping in mind something I heard Eban Pagan say in one of his recent videos...spend 60% of your time marketing, 20% doing product creation (the other 20% I think is admin time...don't remember exactly).

Writing is so time-intensive that it's hard to spend 60% of my time marketing right now...but I finally get his point: marketing connects the product with the money....duh!

It's nice when the light bulb switches on.

    1. Finished building a new blog.
    2. Submitted 4 of my sites to 20 directories.
    3. Updated another rather decrepit old blog (that used to make a bit of money before it fell apart ).
    4. Submitted 3 RSS feeds to 30 or so RSS directories.

I've spent most of the day tackling cross-browser compatibility issues on something that needs to be sorted before it can make me any money (IE6 has the issues, and if I were that browser then I would be cross too) and periodically considering jumping ship for a more simpler occupation such as brain surgery or nuclear physics.

Mother-in-law is due for a visit tomorrow and will not be departing until Monday, so said browser is likely to stay cross for a few days longer.

-Start filling them up with content

Well let's see, I finished reading your flipping book. Bought a domain and some reseller hosting and wrote a few articles after doing the keyword research.

I also added a new post to one of my authority sites, wrote some paid articles, and did some bookmarking and seo work on a few other mini-sites I just developed.

    That was yesterday...

Today I'll probably write many more articles, both paid and for my sites, get my "flipping model" site up, and then start promoting it. I'll probably add a few video reviews to some clickbank/affiliate sites I have, and then add adsense to some of my new sites. After lunch...

As of this very second, I have:

10 new gmail accounts (I plan on having a list of 30 by the end of the night)

All emails will have a craigslist account attached to them.

I've got 10 cpa offers to promote, 10 affiliate offers to promote as well.

Each gmail will have its own blog, with articles and all.

I'll create a new blog with one of my older gmails, and talk about my own new product, articles, etc.

PLan on writing at least 30-40 articles tonight and submitting them to at least 10 article directories.

Every Gmail will also have at least two posts on craigslist by the end of tonight as well, each one promoting something.

I plan on having money in the bank by this time tomorrow.

I spent the morning writing e-mails and responding to e-mails for an off-line company that I own. Spent the rest of the day putting a Ford truck together. Tonight I will spend updating my affiliate site and then write some adds and place on Craig's List for GDI membership signups.
