Write articles, create ping.fm accounts, submit sites to social bookmark sites, post questions a d answers on yahoo answers. There are so many choices. Just look around the various categories and I'm sure you'll find something.

"TAKE ACTION" is the first thing everyone tells you and then they leave it at that. I'll add a second part: TRACK EVERYTHING" - It's the only way to ensure your ACTION leads to results.

Whatever service you're providing, remember you can always maximize your profits by having a backend strategy on Fiverr once you get these Fiverr customers "in the door".

You can easily find SEO providers, copywriters and web designers who normally charge hundreds or even thousands for their work, but offer a $5 gig for a "taste" of their services on Fiverr.

      Why?

Because they know these customers are potentially worth so much more once they're satisfied with the $5 gig, and who do you think they're going to look for to get more work done?

      Yup!

This is true. But once you've established yourself as someone who'll work for $5, it could be tough to make your client realise that your true value is way higher.

For example, I'm selling a lot of gigs writing original articles on Fiverr. Because my writing is way better than most other gigs on there, I'm getting a bunch of requests to work outside Fiverr writing multiple articles per day.

But it's not cost-effective for me to write articles for $5 - that's meant to be the taster - yet it's hard to explain that to clients.

If you can solve that problem, Fiverr is a great marketing strategy. Maybe it's better suited to SEO gigs, where you can semi-automate the gig then upsell them on your specialist knowledge.

Probably link building since you can do it automagically, but you have to be good at using tools like scrapbox and xrumer.

Writing for people and making logos works well too (high demand) but it takes a lot of time to write articles and make logos for people.

I bought one of these gigs inadvertently. Didn't know it was a dropped domain, only that it was a PR 6, which intrigued me. It turns out the domain had belonged to a politician and when he threatened to sue the new owner, poof went those posts.

I'm a lot less sanguine these days about hiring Fiverr sellers to do blog posts unless it's a well-established blogger.

A lot of those actually sound really useful. I've been struggling to make an ebook cover myself, but realized from my own behavior and sense that the cover is very important. Though people say "Never judge a book by a cover", everyone does.

I'm also struggling with a good twitter background right now and having looked around the site I'm not the only one. So if photoshop is your thing try twitter background/ebook cover/site graphics etc.

tl;dr : Twitter Background is a good optional Fiverr

If you are lucky enough to be a pretty young lady then you can always do one of those gigs where you pout and hold up a sign with something written on it.

God knows why but those always seem to be a popular waste of time.

i do not condone this, but i think the best way to make money on fiverr is doing testimonials for IMers. I suggest though, that you keep your integrity if you choose to do this, by actually going through the product your giving testimonial on, and really write what you think about it, rather than reading from a script.

Obviously you must be skilled in a particular area. So go to that category and sort by popularity. Look at the first five gigs and try to provide the same. Study the way in which the gig post was written and try to write it better and add a little something extra, so that your gig is better value. Always be punctual in delivery and try and over deliver slighly. Then chase the buyer for good references. All this will improve your future sales.

Lastly when you've done the posting of the gig once, go to the fiverr alternative sites and repost there aswell.

With nearly a million gigs up on Fiverr now, one suspects the easy and profitable pond has been pretty much fished out.

There are very few Fiverr sellers who sell even 10 gigs per day. And that's only $39.40 net.

I'd always wondered about the amount of revenue you could make there, this pretty well confirms my suspicions.

Obviously this wouldn't be a decent source of revenue (at least by North American, European or Australian standards) for someone, but I guess it could be a nice spending money addition if you could automate the process of your gig.

Otherwise it could probably function as an introductory method of getting customers for real jobs for real money.

Competition in the Fiverr is now huge, all niches are well covered. People who start on time, about a year ago, now have hundreds of reviews and still get a lot of orders, for new gig is hard to break.

It does not matter what you choose to, it is important advertised good. I asked a guy who has a very strong SEO blog, to write a post and recommend my gig, he accepted it, and I get about 200 orders in four months.

If a job takes fifteen minutes to complete, then it's not such a bad sum of money to earn. That is assuming they can get ten sales of the service a day. So, maybe the key to earning on Fiverr is to select a service that can be performed in minimal time or automatically such as with software.

I like to write my articles with the main keyword in the title, in the first and last sentence of the article and maybe once Oagain in the body. I also sprinkle in secondary related keywords. I make my articles around 500 to 650 words and submit them to ezinearticles. After that ill spin and submit to lesser directories.

Sometimes ill also submit rewritten articles (not spun) to hub pages and squidoo.

uh duh....you can only post so many adds at a time before craigslist starts to limit your ad activity usually 5, give or take. If you have an ad that makes you money lets say 30.00 per week...then the the more ads you post , the more money you can make. 2 posts 60.00 bucks 10 posts 300.00 bucks. A handful of spammers ruin it for the rest of us with legitimate businesses. spammers may make money but also want exposure. more exposure i.e. more ads equals possibly more money. So legitimate businesses and spammer all want to post more and more ads....craigslist knows this and limits the posting to only a handful of posts. this stops spammers but still allows regular businesses to post and regular people to post, like people selling their coffe tables and stuff. Craigslist also limits the number of accounts you can have. If I have an ad that makes 30.00 bucks then I will gladly pay a person on fiverr...5 bucks to post 1 to 5 ads for me to double or quintuple my exposure and make me more money. i hope i explained this well enough. there are many more layers to this....study.

Do you have any good software? There are lots of different things you can offer that have software associated with them, thus making it very painless and quick to do the gig. You can also spend some time searching for great, tried-and-true services that have room for a mark-up and do that. Of course, it's a little more difficult on Fiverr since the price point is so low.

I had read a WSO about a month ago and he said to research what other people were charging on other sites and then go to Fiverr and see what you could get done. Price it just under what others are asking.

Backlinking services seem to be popular and people will pay fairly well for those services.

You don't want to post up a gig that's going to take you 30 minutes to do because then you are pretty much making just a little bit above minimum wage. Find something that takes less than 5 minutes to do. Preferably something digital that can be automated. Most of those intro/logo gigs are all completely set up and requires just a tweak here and there to crank out a completed gig. Hope that helps.

My strategy was making squidoo lenses with unique content and throwing up some images. By do this on fiverr I built up a clientele list and offered my services making those same lenses but a much higher quality, keyword researched and optimised lenses for $10 each. I could do these lenses in about 20-30 minutes. Most of my clients are SEO firms and they keep me pretty busy. The key is using fiverr to build relationships outside of fiverr and captilizing on those contacts.

I use a lot of fiverr services, mostly I buy gigs like back linking services that I dont have time for anymore.

My advice would be to get yourself a proper copy of Senuke and sell those as gigs.

If if you get good at it Senuke will only take 15 mins of your time using the wizard function.

Also creating twitter accounts using tweet attacks is another good way to make money.

Isn't SEnuke something like $150/month? So you'd have to sell about 40 gigs a month just to cover the monthly fee before making any profit.

In any order you may include a links right? Links to whatever you want... And I answered your question.

I think the rule is probably for people who say in their discussion things like: "Hey...let's cancel the order and you send me the money or an e-mail at..."

if you are good at HTML and CSS you can do small changes, modifications in WordPress based site for $5.
if you are good at writing you can suggest writing amazon reviews, articles, etc..

I'd find some really popular gigs and provide a service similar to but better than one of those.

It will take a bit of research but look for gigs that have lots of good comments - then perhaps even order that gig to see what others are doing.

    Just modify and improve it.

I always try to create gigs what nobody offers. I know it's a challenge but if you make a little research, you will find.
A million people offer editing, voiceover, drawing, logos, business cards, you might end up a long waiting for your first order (especially if you are a new seller with no ranking yet).
My last gig I post 2 days ago had got 5 different orders with extras all on the first day.
So go ahead and don't be afraid offering something new!

To find the best gig to offer on Fiverr you must:
    1. take some time to analyze what is selling the best
    2. think of what you can do, what you are good at.

Best solution would be to do something that do not takes a time. But it depends on what you want to achievie. Do you want to make Fiverr you primary income strategy or just to create connections with people and after Fiverr gig offer them something better and with higher price. Second option would be reasonable.

I would say if you own a site of page rank or 3 above, offer a backlink. Customers are loving this at the moment because of google saying that page authority counts now more than the number of backlinks!

Unfortunately almost all lines of work are covered by top-rated sellers on Fiverr by now, so getting a piece of that pie is going to be tough. Definitely forget about article writing, editing, proof reading or the usual stuff, that won't get you anywhere even if you let others exploit you.

There are some really good techniques and tools included in my current WSO, you might want to check it out.

I would say reviews. Those do not take a lot of time and the demand is growing. Most users need to have some idea of what the product does as reviews cannot seem generic. Please remember that if you review a software you get to keep the program. Also, you get via pay pal $3.92 after the 20 day holding period is over. Best of luck to you.

If you were to host your our business, build your own website and do marketing to attract as much traffic as Fiverr does on your own it would cost you more than 20% of your profits to get started - you are paying for them to be the middle man (and if smart using that money to build your own little empire off of Fiverr, basically it's a good stepping stone)

The truth is that there are a plethora of great gigs at Fiverr (for sellers)
I've seen dozens and dozens of categories where the biggest players have 5,000 or even 10,000 completed gigs...

so the good news is there is not just one that is the best..

but I guess it depends on where you want to sell, or who you want to sell to.

You can get sales on Fiverr no matter what your experience level, however if you can't actually deliver the results the client wants, you will also get many sale cancellations and low ratings which will greatly hinder your Fiverr career.

To make money on Fiverr you need gigs that are minimal work on your part, i.e. SENUKE or other tasks though make sure they are actually profitable.

People say you can't make money on Fiverr due to there being so many gigs but one of the people I use as 400+ orders in their queue and has completed almost 20,000, which equates to around $80,000 and this particular person has regularly has about $1000-$1500 worth of gigs in their queue so is making that in a week, which isn't bad!

What sell best on Fiverr are methods to get traffic, that's my impression. Whether it's getting backlinks or (fake) likes for your fan pages on social media, or writing SEO articles or writing.. anything with keywords in them, methods to get traffic your way are probably the most demanded gigs.

    Hi,

I wouldn't say that setting up any gig on Fiverr is 'easier' than any other, but there are two main rules that will increase your chances of getting gigs:

    1. You need To Deliver Huge Value on a Site Where it is Hard to Differentiate Yourself! There are many people on Fiverr that all do the same service, so the key is to think up ways that you can differentiate yourself, as price is not really an option. For example, you could add in extras, or be more personal in your communication with clients.

    2. You Need To Think About Market Demand. Go for the gigs that are always going to be in demand - such as writing gigs, making graphics etc. Strange or quirky gigs are more of a risk - they may catch on, or they may fail drastically!

    Hope that helps!

    Christian

well i am a level 2 seller on fiverr and when i hear people say or insinuate that working for 4 bucks on fiverr is a waste of time i just laugh. Its about for some seller $4 times 85 orders in queue every single day or something like that.
You can start by looking at what is working to top sellers and see if you have the skills or tools to deliver such.
something else i discovered recently is to offer some unique service that limits the amount of competitors and is in good demand most of the times all you need is a few repeat customers that order your gig regularly, even fiverr favor unique gigs and ranks them better. with some patience and thinking outside the box you will eventually hit it off and the good thing about fiverr is that top rated sellers of seller that are getting high volume of sales keep making even more money (buyers prefer seller with a number of good ratings than fewer number of good ratings.
    Just my two cent!
