Very impressive, I usually get bored after two or three articles.

There's another internet marketer who pumps out articles at ridiculous rates, and he does all his own writing. I know of three pen names he has on EZA. One has nearly 7,700 articles, one has nearly 1,800 articles and one has nearly 1,000 articles.

That's only the pen names I know about.

      He's an article writing machine.

I was getting ready to kick some butt...but it's just a sneaky headline. It worked I guess.

James Brown was known as the hardest working man in show business well Steve is the hardest working man in article marketing. :-)

He is the man when it comes to article marketing. And read a few of those and you will note they're all quality articles. Not just drivel to get articles out there. So great job indeed!

And on top of that he writes great e-books and reports. So the man is a mean lean writing machine!

I was doing 20-30 articles a day for a while, but soon found that there was much better ways to use my time... however, at that rate, it is possible to break six figures a year. The only problem is it requires 10 hour work days.

Without a doubt, Steven has clearly proven time again that hard work and patience combined with article marketing can significantly improve your ability to drive traffic and increase your total online profits. What's really amazing is the ROI he is able to generate from his articles.

I would love to be able to work that hard consistently - I used to write up to 10 articles a day but I could never keep it up for more than a few weeks at a time. Although I love the results of article marketing and I don't mind writing, I prefer to outsource as much of it as possible these days as it's so time consuming.

Yeah..that's why I admire him too All hand written and not by software. Really hardworking. Just bought one of his WSO. There are real meat inside.

The design kills me too but when he prove that he's making 6 figures per year, I think I am on the wrong track. Perhaps, it really doesn't matter if you have not even one red coin to start, all made possible by simply working harder than those who are lucky than you to have "abundance" to start and still crying "help".

To be honest it's truly nothing too special. My writing isn't that bad, but it's also not the most compelling pieces of writing one can create. I approached article marketing from the point of view of marketing, and not just simply writing well. Proper market research, proper low comp. keywords, well written article, then getting links back to the actual article to help push it up in the search engines.

          People do forget this sometimes....but...

your ezine article for example, it just another page on a website. You can treat it in almost the same fashion as any other page on your site to target stops in the serps etc.

Just about all my big producing articles are also well over a year old, and still remain on page 1 of google and other major serps, not to mention that it's been passed around from site to site with a link back to my article.

My advice with articles is to approach more from a marketing point of view and mindset like you would the rest of your sites, ads, blogs, etc... instead of "I have to be an amazing writer to make this work!"

You still need to put quality stuff out there, but remember it's the selling power and strategy behind something that makes it sell.....not just an informative well written article.

P.S. Remember to "sell" your reader on why they should click on your bio box link!

This may be a silly question but how is it possible to find so many things to write about? Especially if you're doing, say 10-50 or more articles per day! I've been told that I'm a good writer but I quickly get bored with it unless the subject really interests me.

I can barely keep my end of a long discussion with my wife about most things so I just can't imagine finding lots of things to write about to the tune of multiple articles per day. Wow. You who do it really amaze me.

I have tried to avoid this thread up to this point. As Paul Myers said so well
not too long ago, it's a no win. If you avoid it and don't reply, you look like
you're ungrateful for the compliments. If you do reply, you look like you're
buying into the praise and looking for attention.

Paul, you are so wise it makes me sick sometimes LOL.

Well, let me just respond to a few of the remarks and do it all in one post.

love your stuff, but please, please I think you need to update your site
Todd, thanks for starting this. It's generous of you to offer to redo my site. I
am still working on trying to get you a working FTP account. If anybody
can walk me through doing this, it would be much appreciated. I seem to
be able to write articles but can't create an FTP account for Todd to use.
I did create one but for some reason, the info I gave him, it doesn't work.
        I'm a total techno idiot.

That guy is an article writing machine!

Steven never stops writing, not even on his sleep!
Jose, if only you knew how true that really is. I dream about writing
        articles. It's scary.

I think you'll find that Steven writes way more than 5 articles a day.

He does use pen names as well. He's mega prolific!

        Roy
Roy, I do have several pen names. I'm going to be creating more as I
branch out into other niches. But I won't be doing as much writing as I
used to do. My whole business model is changing drastically.

And on top of that he writes great e-books and reports. So the man is a mean lean writing machine!
Thanks Alan. I try my best. Hopefully, I've been able to help a few folks.

If you have followed some of his first postings on the forum until now you will see the evolution he has undergone to get to where he is at right now. It's good stuff!!!
Tim, when I first got here, they were ready to lynch me. 80 posts in one
day will NOT make you many friends. I've learned a lot since then. If you
look at my average daily post count I think it's somewhere around 15 now.

Yes, I have learned a lot from some very professional and intelligent people
here. Me? I'm just a hard working stiff.

        But, Stuff That!

I have all that sort of stuff outsourced! My time is better
spent on the direction and planning of my business rather
than doing all the grunt work.
Michael, you are a much smarter and wiser man that me. Good for you.

        I'm learning.

And I guess that's really the main point I want to make. Please don't make
a big deal out of all the writing I do. Believe it or not, there are better
ways to do things, ways that are more efficient and actually bring in more
        income.

I've always been content with what I've done and how I've done it because
I never needed more than what I have. Lots of folks dream about making
the kind of money that a Frank Kern or a John Reese makes. I just dream
of waking up in the morning, feeling okay, seeing that my wife and daughter
are well and taken care of and knowing that in December my mortgage
will be paid off and in 2 years college will be paid off as well. After that,
whatever we make will be for our later years. We live simply and don't
need much. My hobbies are so cheap a McDonald's worker could afford
        to do them.

Point is, money and success aren't everything in life. I was forced into
doing what I do because I lost my job. Had I not, I'd probably still be
working for the man. It's not like Internet marketing was a dream of
mine. I do what I do because it's a means to an ends. I had one skill in
this life and I was fortunate enough to be able to use it for something,
which is the reason why I didn't mind writing so much.

But now, I want to spend more time with my music and my family. I'm
making enough that I don't have to kill myself anymore. With the plans I
have for 2009, I'll double my income and do half the work. And like so many
here have said, that's what you really want to strive for. Otherwise, you're
just working another job. They are so right.

So I'll finish with this. Be smart, not like me. Use article writing and
marketing as a start to building your business. Then, if you still want to
do it, outsource it. Invest your money to make more money. Don't become
        a slave to your business.

Anyway, that's all I got. Hope my response was okay. Like I said, these
are no win threads, but I didn't want to ignore all the folks who took the
        time to respond to it.

Now, if only I could learn how to properly create an FTP account.

Steven you're an inspirational source to many here.
You know your audience and take full advantage of your given dynamic.
You're politically correct in your own magniloquent way.

You never gave up despite the lynching mood of a raged crowd.
You never retaliated but with a messiah like compassionateness
turned the other cheek to the philistines.

You're an inspirational paradigm to the average Joe and Mary.
To the unbraced McDonald worker, the laid off employee and
ex- truck driver of today's merciless techno environment...
where the prevalent capitalism squashes the ecliptic vision.

I think it's important to note that Steven doesn't just have a whole boat load of articles...he also has the income to prove his strategies work.

It's a great example of what YOU can do if you just work your arse off.

Nothing Steven did as far as I know to build his online income to the six figure level cost him any significant money.

There are really no excuses...except that you're too lazy.

And when you get to the point Steven's at you can reassess what you're doing to make your money and get way more efficient.

Usually about 20% of your effort produces 80% of your results...so you can just focus in on doing the 20% or even doubling your effort in the productive areas and dumping the rest.

But you'll find it very difficult to work out where that key 20% is for you unless you get off your arse and make some stuff happen.

Steve has my genuine respect because he's done that in spades.
