Best CMS for Membership site?

Can any warriors recommend the best OS CMS for a membership site that will be displaying video tutorials and taking payment via paypal etc.
I know there are many plugins for WP, Joomla and Drupal. Seems like mixed opinions on google search, so maybe someone can advise from first hand experience.
Feedback much appreciated thanks!

Have you looked at the Wordpress s2Member® plugin yet which is integrated with Paypal?

Watch the video on the link above.

I hope this helps you out.

I used The Best Membership Script Online... Rapid Residual Pro for a PLR membership I did this summer and IMHO, this is the best solution because it integrates everything into the 1 platform.

It has its own affiliate program built in with rotating payments, easy interface to show your videos from Amazon S3, you can drip feed the content if you want or not, also you can display your other products to the members and it has a coaching module and great support. It's very modular and easy to setup and use once you get the hang of it.

Depending on your budget, Wordpress for cheap, vBulletin for a larger site. Good luck

      Huh?

Sorry but vBulletin is more of a powerful forum software than a CMS, I mean even with the recent addition of "cms" capabilities to this forum software the lack of flexibility of it would not really be recommended for a membership site.

On the other hand one can also had powerful social functions by adding BuddyPress to the Wordpress platform and as mentioned above using WhishList Member as the Gate keeper and you're in business.

I bought Profits Theme a while back and it's pretty nice. I have tried many times in the past to set up membership sites and it's just not something that I could ever get set up right. The Profits Theme was pretty easy, though.

    WordPress + OptimizePress + DigitalAccessPass + EVP (or S3mediaVault) + Amazon S3 = Awesome Membership Site! :-)

    +vBulletin for a powerful forum.

    +Paypal and/or Authorize.net for payments.

    +JVZoo/DigiResults for split-payments.

I've just set up using WP, OptimizePress, Digital Access Pass and Clickbank. I'm a newbie and essentially have no website-making skills. Still ironing things out but the fundamentals of the site are set up. It has everything I want.
