Clickbank mistake? Should I promote that ebook?

There is an ebook on clickbank which I want to promote. Problem is that, clickbank showing $160 avg sale. But when I checked the ebook, it is only asking for around $90... and paying 75% Avg from $90.

It's only one time payment...

Now, is it a mistake of clickbank? I want to promote it even if it's paying 75% of $90.

What you suggest? Should I leave it? or promote it?

And, are there any other ways to check more things about this problem?

No it's no mistake... the average sell includes all the upsells =D

I would study ClickBank and the whole process more before jumping in.

    Best of luck.

=D I think I asked a stupid question. But I really don't know about it. Please tell me about it. I am not getting it well. On order form it's only asking around $90. This never happened with me before.

Upsells are just like when you go to an electronics store (Bestbuy) or get a new credit card and they ask you if you want to buy insurance, upgrades, extras, etc. There is a lot of money to be made with upsells.

Recently I bought an Internet Marketing product and after being redirected to the product website page I was hit by nothing but upsells... 5 whole pages of this person trying to sell me one thing after the other.

Anyways the "average sell" includes the upsells that people buy.

Upsells, downsales, sales funnel... There is a whole art to this and it's good to study and get better at it.

    Good luck.

Chris, it may also be worth trying to find out whether the product's price has changed during the period over which the Marketplace statistics currently showing were compiled.

It's possible that a major contributor to the $160 figure you're seeing could date from (for example) last month, when the product cost $247, or whatever.

I don't suggest it's necessarily likely, but it's one possibility.

Some vendors do change the price. Either because they're testing at different prices, or (more often, I'm afraid) because it's not selling well and they decide that reducing the price a lot might make a big difference to their income from it - usually it doesn't, I think.

Great points Alexa. Thank you so much. Next time, I will stay careful about it. These points not come in my mind before.

And no, it's not a stupid question. Even people who are experienced don't know how to best utilize the sales funnel, upsales, etc. For example the product I purchased took me to page after page of nothing but big red arrows pointing at other things that I should buy... it was very off putting.

Like I said... there is an art to it.
