You can always learn some new tricks

Despite having been marketing online on since 1998 today I learned something really valuable I thought I'd share I don't subscribe to very many marketers lists as I find a lot of people will promote anything there is a buck in it even if its of little value to their subscribers.

Secondly it distracts me from getting work done.

However I joined Terry Kyles Seo Sunday list and although I don't agree with all of his Seo tips today I saw an excellent one on using Aweber to re email people that didn't click or open your previous mailings. It is very common sense and it is also very profitable.

Terry didn't ask me to post this feedback and it is something I very rarely do. This is just my way of saying thanks for providing something free of great value and for being a genuine guy.

Cheers keep it up wish a lot of other people would take a leaf out of your book.

  • Thanks for posting this message. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it. I may just have to add Terry to my list to watch now. Thanks for taking just a little more of my day away.(sarcastic smirk inserted here)

  • Well thanks for that cool info.
  • Thanks so much for sharing that. I didn't know about that feature in Aweber and it sounds like such a common sense thing to do. I've just been using the basic parts of Aweber,so it's always helpful to have someone show you a trick in 5 minutes that I might have had to spend an hour learning about through their own videos.

Guess I'm signing up for another email list after all!
  • thanks for that tip!
  • Woaw, that's a neat functionality!
I didn't know that it existed!

    • Learn something new, indeed. Thanks for sharing!
  • Justin,

thank you for sharing we must always keep learning so we can keep growing
  • I heard about this about a year ago but I'm using the old Aweber so I don't have access to this option.

    Thanks

  • There are definitely some worthwhile lists you can get a gem out of every once in a while for free.

Thanks for sharing this, I'm sure the list-owner is really happy since you're doing great marketing for him
  • Thanks for the tip. I'm going to Aweber right now to resend one out. I had heard about doing that a while back and forgotten about it.
  • This thread is perfect example that you can learn something new every day, no matter how much you already know
    Thanks for the tip!
  • Yep, someone else here on the forum mentioned to do that several weeks (or maybe months) ago and I started doing it.

My open rates are now 50% to 119%.

It is important, I think, to re-post stuff here because it gets buried so quickly.
