Facebook Affiliate to sell music idea

Hey im new to here and really like the forum. I am a indie musician and recently released an album. It is for sale on itunes and other sites but i wanted to sell it myself as well.I had an idea to try and recruit people on facebook to promote and sell my album to friends for a cut (i was thinking 50/50 of 60/40). This would be awesome because i could target different specific ares and age groups. I could at least get some free press for towns i will be booking shows in.
I have a few questions for you guys.
Does anyone have any advice on what service to sell from. Is paypal good? Also, would it be possible to sell it like itunes? Where you would purchase and then the songs would download in sequence, rather than clicking each song....or would i have to put it in a zip file?
Also, as far as contacting random people....how can i do it without seeming creepy or like a scam. It really is neither...i think everyone wins and is a good oppertunity for someone to make a little quick money and spreads the word of the art. I am going to target dif colleges and active facebookers with a good amount of friends

Good idea???
Thanks

I don't know if im allowed to post links but i have some preview videos and some streams i could show anyone.

Hey I wonder If you can do this with clickbank since your cd is technically a product. There you could set whatever commission you like though Clickbank always take a cut.

    Hey Pat,

definitely a great idea to brand yourself and let the world know of the music you make! Now, if you don't want to sell on iTunes, that's fine, I would create a site about myself, if I were you, and give people two options to buy your album - either the whole album or a particular song from the album, where they would choose which one to buy.

Paypal is the best payment processor for this purpose. As for the individual or business account on Paypal, I think it doesn't matter too much, if you are simply collecting payments, then the individual will do the job!
