I feel like a newbie with this question

Hello all,

I've been a warrior for a few years and I still don't know how to do a search in the forum for a multi word phrase. I've tried the phrase in quotes but it doesn't seem to be working.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John

I'm not sure what you could be doing wrong. What are you doing differently between a multi word phrase and a single world?

The only thing that I can think of is maybe you need to select "threads" instead of "posts".

LOL, a person who asks a doubt is a fool for 2 minutes and who doesn't, is a fool for a life time. So, everyone is a newbie at every point of life.

I normally prefer to use Google custom search. Have you tried it? The results would be massive and sometimes I find golden nuggets buried deep within this forum.

    Have a try.

    Hi John,

Have you tried the Advanced Search?
    http://www.warriorforum.com/search.php

Use double quote before and after your search phrase.

I personally just use Google to search the forum. Since the forum gets so much traffic anyway, Google indexes new posts very quickly so the results are usually up to date (or only a few hours behind the actual forum).

To use Google to search the Warrior Forum (or just about any other site), use Google's "site:" operand as such:

Go to Google and type in site:warriorforum.com "your keywords" and hit enter.

If you want to search just a particular subforum, such as the WSO forum, type in site:warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum "your keywords" and hit enter.
