You could try putting your signature on your posts in here, and other foums that will surely get you more visitors. Also try social media sites. there are lots of ways to increase traffic if you put a little thought into it.

Then, when you leave useful comments in their blogs, some of them will tell their readers more about you.

Colin, you are 100% right! I do type them in Wordpress manually. Then Ping.fm sends it out I have just googled about doing this on WP with one click which will save time. What will including a signature on Warrior do? Will it increase my reach in any special way? What should I put in the signature?

You should post at least 5 comments on other blogs daily, It can give you huge traffic, also make signature of your blog url.

Yeah everyone summed it up really, the more you reach out yourself, the more people will reach back to you. Formula never fails.

Some great advice. I would like to make sure that I understand completely. Here are the last three signatures that I have put on my Wordpress blog. Then I Ping.fm them to all the sites that Ping links to. Is this what you mean by signatures? Please tell me what you think. Are they allowable, good, bad, could get me banned lol whatever you think

I don't know what niche you are in, but have you considered article marketing? Submit an original article to some of the top article directories and not only will you then have a backlink on their site, other people in your niche can use your articles on their site which will have a link back to your site in the article signature.

Find forums in your niche, add a link to your site in your signature and post some useful and relevant posts. Those signatures are ok, but if I were you I'd get rid of the 'just another wordpress weblog'

If I were you I'd get rid of the generic wordpress picture in your blog header and commission a unique header image, and consider using a different theme. Is it a Wordpress hosted blog? If so you may be better buying the domain name (Happiness Guru?) and hosting Wordpress on it, as you are limited to what you can do using their free blogs.

Writing quality content and making meaningfull comments on the top bloggers in your niche is a good place to start.

A great way to extend reach is guest blogging, and it's the next step once you get noticed by the key players as someone who knows what they're talking about.

My 2 cents (and I know I am repeating some of the advice above):

- Comment on other blogs (not for the traffic, but to establish relationships with other bloggers)
- Guest post. Read some articles on how to do it well (i.e. target your audience, direct them to tailored landing pages, convert with a relevant mailing list offer, and so on)
- Reach out to other bloggers - feature them, talk about them
- Be active on forums and include a link to your blog in your signature
- Work hard on social networks (notably Facebook and Twitter)
- Produce videos on YouTube if possible - huge potential source of traffic

There's a few off the top of my head :-) oh and most importantly, apply all of the above (and anything else you try) consistently and persistently over a period of many months. Although you will have spikes in traffic and so on, nothing huge happens overnight.

Guest posting has worked well for me. Most blog owners love unique content for their blog so I've had a high success rate of asking them if they'll post my articles.

Like others have said, blog commenting is a great way to build relationships with other webmasters.

use yahoo answers with quality keywords and you will be amazed with the result as well
