anyone know what the highest converting color and font are for squeeze pages? what has worked in your experience?

    Red is definitely a power color - along with a bold font, even add some yellow highlighting to really stand out.

    Wrong question. What worked in MY experience or in HIS and HER experience... will not necessarily work in YOUR experience.

      From my own very limited experience of this exact question, I've seen only three adequate split-tests of colors on squeeze pages. On all three of them, bright red was the worst-converting color.

      I suspect bright red has been so widely used, for so long, by so many people copying others without testing for themselves, that there's now a growing subconscious "sales recognition factor" about it, which may put some people's guard up and reduce opt-in rates. I haven't tested this theory.

        But.

        Choosing a font for online readibility would be a good starting point.

        Data from testing suggests Arial, Courier & Verdana at around 10-12pt to be the most legible on screen ("Software Usability Research Lab, A Comparison of Popular Fonts")

        Not the most stylish of fonts but easy to read.

        No barrier to understanding of your razor-sharp copy !!

      Normally I would agree, but you could certainly allow yourself to generalize when it comes down to colors, fonts and structure/visual factors/layouts..

      I think it's a fair question to ask if you're not a very experienced marketer and here on wf to learn.

      Hi,

      i can't give you a precise answer. There are several studies and books on this topic. You should TEST.

      Just remember some key points:

      - the headline is the most important part of your squeeze page, make it visible using a large font, make it bold enough to accentuate the message and above all "catchy", attractive.

      - generally red color is preferable but you have to test.

      - regard fonts, try impact, georgia, tahoma, verdana, myriad pro, trebuchet ms.

      - don't forget to add a privacy statement that tells your visitors that their details are safe with you.
