Even Google can't help me

Hi all,
I've just found this forum, and the information here has been great. I'm proof that just ranking on the first page of Google doesn't help if your content is all over the place.

I'm in the process of re-thinking my blog, and repurposing some articles on sites like infobarrel.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. Now I'm off to learn something about keyword research and affiliate marketing.....

I'm guessing by "all over the place" you mean the content is not very focused, not very well written?

I'm with you, though. I've completely changed my perspective on how I go about creating content for the Web. If the quality of my articles aren't worthy of a spot in the New York Times, I don't bother.

That's exactly what I mean. I'm in the process of re-designing the site and focus the content on what people want.

Keyon, have you noticed an increase in visitors to your articles?

It's good to hear that you can be on first page of Google, but how competitive is your keyword? Search volume for it? Without much search volume = not much traffic = low conversion = no $$$.

Interesting how many people have problems with Google, shame no one feels able to go up against them.
