Is it Normal To Make Money During The Holiday Season?

I made an amazon affiliate website about a month ago, it only started making sales this month so far and I've had about 5 conversions.
But then, is it obvious that everyone will make sales during December time?
I was thinking that these sales may be flukes because of Christmas...
So is December a typical money making month for everyone?

    I have noticed more sales in December and February. No idea why february, perhaps the valentines day...

    December is not a typical earning month for everyone because of the competition. Your websites must have a higher ranking than others in order to get more visitors than your competitors
