Anyone Have Problems with Google Mail?

I just wanted to see if anyone else has problems with GMail?

Sometimes it takes ages to load for me and then today I was having further problems logging which has disrupted me keeping in touch with clients.

Truth be told I prefer Yahoo in many ways.

    I rarely have problems with gmail and have found it by far to be the best of the free web-based email services. The spam filter kicks ass.

    I've never had a problem. I'm a hardcore Google fan. I use all their stuff... calendar, desktop gadgets, google reader, and lots of other apps they offer.

    I'm surprised to hear you've been having problems. Are you sure it's not you're internet connection?

      yes I get the same problem sometimes too...
      Just click on the 'load basic html' link which appears at the bottom right corner of the page.. and it will load

      Once it loads click on the link "Load Normal" version which is found at the top left of the page...

    I was just here to take a break from trying to solve a problem with gmail. I have had at least 3 that I can remember in the last year or so. One goofy very minor one was when I was typing a message that was important to me to a company that I wanted to impress Ok, I'm embarrassed I wanted to impress them.

    After I sent the message I was in my sent items folder and noticed that the message had been sent twice, once after just a couple of sentences typing. I had absolutely not gone near the send button while typing it. Not a big deal especially since it turned out I didn't want to have anything to do with the company, but I switched back to using Outlook after that, and sending my messages through gmail with it.

    I had Outlook set up to download messages with imap from gmail and it quit working a few months ago. Set it up with pop3 and it worked. Tried imap again and it was now working so I went back to that. And then just today it quit again. This could be a problem with Outlook, but I think I'm going to be switching over to a simpler email system.

      I have that problem with gmail quite frequently. It loads very slowly or hesitates to reload after reading an email.

      I'm also having probs w/mozilla since I upgraded to firefox 3.0.6. It won't allow me to use trafficswarm and other websites properly. The screens won't change.

      Anyone know how to resolve either of these issues? Appreciate your thoughts & suggestions.

    So far so good for me. Although sometimes the page loading alittle bit slow but it only happens once in a while.
