6 Months to Make $100/Profit a Day, What Would You Do?

I've been doing IM for quite a while now. And I know there are many people here that make good money online through all kinds of methods.

But for the sake of a fruitful discussion, let's say you had to start from SCRATCH and had ONLY 6 months to start generating $100 profit a day, consistently, online. The only amount of money you could use to start would be around $500.

What method would you choose and how would you get your traffic?

I will be curious to find out what many of you have to say

Cheers!
Dayne

    Consulting.

Making 100/day is not a big deal at all doing quality "offline" consulting for companies.
No investment needed except for maybe a homepage and some business cards.

    Cheers,

Using your knowledge in internet marketing to help offline businesses is definitely a valid approach. If you can develop a good sales approach and a good service to offer offline businesses you can make a lot of money. Offer businesses the opportunity to get online and offer businesses that are already online more exposure online using different marketing techniques, maybe even improving their current marketing techniques online.

I would personally (or I will in 2012) venture into product development and website flipping.

I would buy a domain name, point it to an affiliate clickbank product that just launched and build tens of thousands of backlinks to it for a reasonable price

If you're not afraid of interacting with people, getting rejected, etc, start going from business to business offering local SEO services. Ranking for local keywords is not too hard. And most companies that see results are willing to pay you more for more advanced services in addition to referring you to others.

    Ok, I'll bite...

If the person is sharp, can focus, can do research and a fast learner...

He can create 10 stunning products..wait that's six months. so he can create even more but just for the sake of simplicity, let's just say 10 products in six months.

He can then launch those products here for a start. Later he can launch those products in clickbank and advertise it via JVnotifyPro..but then he's just starting with $500.

So 10 products in WSO = 10 X 40 = $400 - he'll still have $100 for W+ - do it in JVzoo and it's free. Maybe use the remaining $100 for domain and hosting in Hostgator.

He doesn't have to immediately purchase 10 domains. As a start he can use subdomains on a more general domain name.

Now let's play around with the projections.

He's got 10 products. If each of those products at least sell for an average $10
per day, then he'll get $100 per day.

    Here's some more interesting projections.

    10 Products @ $20 per day = $200

    10 Products @ $30 per day = $300

    10 Products @ $40 per day = $400

    10 Products @ $50 per day = $500

Let's say that in six months he created 20 products?

I know you get the picture

I like the way you think. If I were to answer my own question, it would be just like yours. I think I do best at infoproducts like ebooks and upsells, writing the copy for it, etc.

What I DON'T do best is driving targeted traffic! That is my biggest challenge.

I use to rely on PPC for most of my targeted traffic because it was so easy to setup with Google, etc. So when all that changed, I realized...I'm not great at targeted traffic OUTSIDE of PPC.

I'm actually starting from scratch myself, even though I've been a IM'er for quite a while now. I had all my eggs in one basket, with a group of about 4-5 websites that sold infoproducts. This past year, I sold them off for $80,000. Now, I'm kinda in withdraw I guess because those sites and products were my "baby" that I cultivated for over 5 years. But it was time to let them go for various reasons on my end.

Now I'm looking to start it all back up again and would like to hit $100 a day, at least in profit, within 6-8 months. BUT, I don't want fly-by-night income, I want longer term residual income.

I think I have this fear that ebooks will not sell for such premium prices like my last ones did, because of the way "ebooks" are now perceived with Amazon Kindle, etc. Now people think they should be anywhere from 99 cents to maybe $10...not $37 or $47. But maybe I'm wrong.

One thing no one has mentioned yet are MEMBERSHIP SITES. I'm actually about to embark on my first one that will only last 6-8 months, and each month they will get a "module" of information. Cost will be around $19-$24/month. It will be almost 100% automated with pure, quality content that is NOT PLR crap. It will be all original stuff.

It would be nice to not only get about 30-40 members a month, but to make them so happy that they stay on the full 6-8 months. That will add up in income.

Anyone else love doing membership sites?

I'm loving this thread, it is giving the motivation to move forward again. ;-)

If someone were to create their own product/course in almost any niche and literally spend 6 months building a site around it, working every day writing articles, making youtube videos, etc... and then promoting affiliate offers to their buyers list they could easily hit $100/day.

Problem is people give up on one model way too fast because they don't see results fast enough fromt the "boring" stuff.

    I'd save the $500.

Focus a significant amount of effort on keyword research.

Then, I'd start churning out 800-1,000 word articles that are SEO/LSI'd to the core.

Dependent on the person and the skill set, the $500 may be used for a keyword research software (although, there are alot of things one can do free of charge) or for outsourcing articles/content.

For monetization, I'd leverage Adsense, Chitika, as well as, a variety of other affiliate programs/networks. I'd do everything possible to maximize the content's potential to earn.

This is great info and has helped me. I have a product currently but its not WF friendly. Geared more toward real estate investors. Its on clickbank and profit so far has been about $1800 with no major JV launches. Honestly I think I'm being lazy but just don't have the guidance to do anything else with it (product) and not sure where to take it from this point. Any advise???
