You can start off by buying a domain name, pointing it to an affiliate clickbank link and then build backlinks with suitable keywords to it

Other than browsing the different sections of this forum (which will create information overload) , I'd recommend you check out Ed Dale's 30 day challenge.

This will give you a decent overview of actionable steps you can take to educate yourself on different available methods.

Always start with what interests you. Your niche and method of making money in that niche should be something that you have a passion for. Otherwise, you will get burned out very quickly and lose interest in what you are doing.

Yes, I advise you to choose a good niche that you're interested in to some degree...and that people are willing to spend money. Affiliate marketing is a great way to get started...and then you can expand and create your own information products to sell. Be careful about following the all the make money opportunities...it can draw away your focus...and make things more complicated than they really are.

Based on my experience the easiest way is selling somethings at eBay.

Ranking from easiest to hardest (Based on my personal exp):
    1. selling on eBay/ Craiglist
    2. become WSOs affiliate, and promote it through Solo Ads (Need Money)
    3. promote CPA offers and direct linking it with Microsoft Adcenter
    4. buying ads banner through Buysellads and promote Clickbank product
    5. building website, building SEO, and monetize with Adsense

    Hope this quick insight helps

The problem with your list is there is nowhere that you are capturing leads. Not building a list is the number one thing that marketers kick themselves for in the end.

Nice list I second that. The only element missing is building a list.
It will make things a ton easier. So get educated on the topic "email marketing/relationship marketing".

Learn how to set up profitable sales funnels. These will be one of your money machines.
So make sure they are set up to the maximum earning potential ie front ends and backends
      Up-sells etc.. must convert well.

Stick with one method until you have mastered it.
Remember what ever method you chose make list building your top priority.

Boy am I learning this the hard way. It seems totally time consuming and pointless, at least for a newbie.

You need to find out who you can help online.

I wrote an article called "Stay Away From The Make Money Online Niche" that you should have a look at. The article talks about why "newbies" should choose a different target market to make money online than the make money online niche.

Look at your hobbies, your passions, your skills? Do any of these suggest ways you can help others online?

Affiliate marketing is the easiest way to get started.
    - pick a niche that you have an interest in (as long as it is not too obscure - there has to be enough demand for it to be profitable)
    - choose a good product to promote (Clickbank is a good place to start)
    - set up a simple website reviewing or preselling your chosen product
    - include an optin form to collect subscribers
    - drive traffic to your site

Obviously there is a bit more to it than that, but that basic model can be very profitable if you do it properly, and persevere.

Affiliate marketing is probably the easiest way to get into the game. Like others have said, there are countless ways to make money, you just have to find the right one for you. You can also benefit from browsing around this forum.

Hey, Sam. Welcome to the Warrior Forum. Perhaps the most common way to make money online is to have a niche blog. Lots of people usually start out with it and then branch out into other forms of internet marketing/making money online. A niche blog focuses on a particular theme like dating, weight loss, learn Spanish, golf (or another popular sport)....and usually contains both product reviews as well as articles about stuff going on in a particular niche.

There are a number of reasons for this. First, it's a legitimate, long-term method that won't ever go away. When you build a niche blog on your own domain, you are actually building a "virtual asset" that can be sold like a house on the housing market. Secondly, the income is residual or passive - work once but continue to profit with no extra work. Thirdly, you're able to generate multiple streams of income from the same blog as well as work around your own schedule. There's a lot to love.

The most important things about building a niche blog are doing your research beforehand and going into a niche market that's both profitable and one you have an interest in because you're gonna have to work to your niche in order to make the big money. For training, see Unstoppable Affiliate by Andrew Hansen and Josh Stanton. The main course is all you need, but they also offer an optional coaching program.

    Yours in online profits,
    Joey

The fastest way to earn online is to sell your skill. visit freelance sites and choose anything project which you can do like article writing, data entry, forum post. you can as well check the buy and sell section of these forum.

The next thing you may want to start selling other peoples products. you can start with digital products like clickbank.

If you want to own your product then buy plr products and resell it.

Welcome to the world of Internet Marketing.

Affiliate marketing is the easiest to get started. It has worked well for me. The thing about this is that you'll be promoting other people's products & you do not need to worry about keeping stocks or customer service.

As well as looking at niches you enjoy you should also look at business models you think you'll enjoy the most.

You need to enjoy your work be-it product creation, building lists, building niche affiliates websites, brokering traffic or providing a service...

What model can you see yourself sticking too (more important that 'which model is best' mindset).

      Hi Sam,

One of the first things that you might wanna do is to pick a niche that interest you and preferably have some knowledge of. This is important as the interest will keep you motivated and though you may not have much knowledge now, that interest will drive you to learn more about your niche and internet marketing methods.

Next, study the subject on keyword research and learn how to set up a blog using wordpress.

      Hope this helps

If your looking to make money on the internet as a whole, i personally wouldnt jump straight into Internet marketing by the means of Pay per click blogs, affiliate links etc.

You'll do what most of us do when we find this site, go on WSO's and spend a lot which then unfortunately go to waste.

    My advice,

Start off on eBay and amazon. Look up something called dropshipping if you don't have a lot of capital to buy products to profit on, or if you do look to buy in bulk. Find a niche of something your interested in, something your knowledgeable of. Finding your niche is one of the hardest parts and stay clear of well branded products such as beats headphones, iPads and all of that.

Just my opinion on it all really, best of luck.

Start off with something simple and cheap (there are several methods which are entirely free, including WebAnswers, and Squidoo lenses and are really easy to make a bit of money).

Make a really honest list of what your current abilities and experiences are, and that will help you choose the best match with what you can do. Obviously you can learn more skills, but it's best to start by making success as easy as you can, then learn more as you go along.

There's lots of good free advice on this forum, but don't ever believe anything you read, whether free or paid for, always test things for yourself. Don't believe the hype that comes with most systems that you pay for, but you can still learn a bunch of new stuff from each one, and eventually you'll know enough to put it together and make it work!

    Chris

I would suggest starting by continuing to read this forum, contribute and ask questions as you have with this thread and then go for a simple tried, tested and proven method such as craigslist, other classified sites, ebay and the amazon affiliate... as others have said, once you've picked a niche, specialize and focus on this.. the worst thing to do is jump around from one idea to the next, just ends up with spinning your wheels. Best of luck.

I felt total information over when I was starting out...there's offline, CPA, affiliate, etc. So much information and you can read all about it on this forum. I found the easiest learning curve for me was doing offline marketing. There's plenty of room to grow and there will always be businesses who need your services. Also, do you have any skills you can offer here on the forum? Remember to do something you enjoy & the money will follow.
