Why Making Money Online Is Like Grandma's Ancient Old Secret Recipe?

There are so many stories and so called secrets out there about how to make money and market your way to millions online....

I recently talked with one of my friends, and we were doing some serious brainstorming. He was telling me that IM is really like grandma's secret ancient old recipe.

I said...HUH!

Then he pointed out that making money online is exactly like cooking. You need a recipe to follow to make things work. Your own recipe that is formulated on things that just WORK!!!

Just imagine if grandma went to the kitchen with some flour and sugar to bake you some of her warm home made delicious cookies. They are not going to taste very nice now are they!?? It would be impossible to make cookies with these two ingredients alone, as they do not make the entire formula. If granny does not use some baking soda, the dough will not rise.

Take away the butter, and they cookies will lose that delicious taste that melts in your mouth. Just TAKE AWAY one single ingredient and grannys worlds greatest cookies are going to taste like cardboard!

It is the main reason people fail to make money online and offline.

OFFLINE...

They may go and listen to some guy speil on about how to make money in a crappy economy.....

He will tell you "Go buy a foreclosed house" "Buy a franchise" "Think positive and believe a BWM is in your driveway" "Trade the stockmarket and make a killing"

Errr....great ideas, but normally they leave out the secret ingredients and step by step processes that you must follow to be successful with these. The entire ingredients list!

ONLINE...

You may buy a clickbank product and learn how to make $57,049 by next Tuesday......LOL (yeh right!)

You will see "Download this software" "Do some keyword research" "Click here" "Make money"

Errrr...again have you heard anyone make $57,049 by next tuesday like the software claims???????

NO!!..... wanna know why?:confused:

Simple..... Many people fail to make money because they do not get the secret ingredients. All people give are the highlights and various roads to wealth. They are really addressing nothing. The failure is WITHIN, because they fail to give you EVERYTHING YOU NEED, the step 1 to step 10 formula..... (or exact ingredients)

A Millionaire bakes his first million by following or forging a step by step process. Not by a series of EVENTS!

Now I am no millionaire, but I do very well by following my own secret special formula. I actually sort of stole it (well not really) from a well known marketer who showed me the exact same steps he used to make his first $100,000 online. It was amazing and worked better than anything I had ever used before. He gave me the exact approach from STEP 1 to ..... STEP 10! All the ingredients I need to bake the perfect money cake!

All successful marketers create wealth by using a very special orchestrated PROCESS. They do not skip any steps in the process. They use the entire forumula from A all the way to Z. NO generalizations and NO exceptions.

Creating wealth is a carefully laid out formula. Not a series of events. Go and ask a professional chef down at your local cookery. They will confirm for you, to cook that PERFECT DISH, you need ...

1) Fresh ingredients
2) Properly timed Execution
3) Herbs or a few extra ingredients to add to the taste.
4) Must add these at the right time and right place

AND.....WHAMO, you have ONE TASTY MEAL!!

Making money online, is not about just having an accumulated list of events and dissociated ingredients all messed up and over the place.

It is the ingredients assembled in a perfect way, at the right time and the right place and in order that is responsible for people to become WILDLY SUCCESSFUL!

Many people FAIL online because they are too busy with the events they must do or take action on, and they arrogantly fail to see how important it is to have that finely tuned process. The process is the most important part. Every and each LITTLE PAINSTAKING STEP!

Without the RIGHT INGREDIENTS, and PROPER PROCESS to match you are doomed to fail!

    Another part of one's 'secret' recipe is to always use ingredients you can handle.

    Some people swear by adding habaneros to everything (like me!). Works great for me!

    Other folks would turn 292 shades of green by that idea.

    Same thing with making money.

    Some people love affiliate marketing, others can't stand it.

    Some people adore direct selling, others would prefer to scrub toilet bowls with their fingernails to doing that.

    Thus, you need to ensure you can embrace all the ingredients you add....and not try to use something that simply will not work for you.

      Go to pub, and skinny dip in the local pool, and then climb the nearest light pole (over heavy traffic area) and scream..... "I DID IT.... I FREAKIN DID IT......WHOOO HOOOO!"

        Geez, and here I thought the last step was to max out your cc on rich looking clothes, rent a Ferrari, drive to a rich neighborhood, snap some photos, then tell everyone how you got rich, using said photos and some photoshopped screenshots . . . and leave out a couple steps. :p

    Hi Celente,

    I truly like your simple yet appropriate analogy. Very often would-be online marketers unnecessarily complicate matters for themselves and stifle their own progress by not sticking to certain accepted guidelines. Worse still, they jump from program to program without showing any significant progress.

    My own analalogy is also food related i.e. a good chef will concentrate on the recipe for the day and stick to it. He or she will not jump from recipe to recipe, as it will not only cause confusion but could also result in a disastrous and totally unpalatable meal.

    This is so true! Back in 2004 when I bought The Rich Jerk ebook I felt exactly as you describe it here. It had ways to make money, but the process was left out. Of course, I thank that ebook for opening my doors to internet marketing, but that's it.

    I wish many product creators would get to see this post and apply it to their products because it does not only happen at a beginner level

    Just don't forget that once you learn enough really good recipes you can experiment a little and add other ingredients - the ones that work great make good fresh new cookie recipes to pass around. There's more than one way to make a great cookie.

    This is so true! I always wondered why a lot of people fail at making money online(including myself). Now I know why I'm failing at IM alone, a lot of programs want to help you make money but a great majority of them lack the proper ingredients. This thread is an eye opener for me. Thanks Celente
