Who else keeps getting good marketing ideas this holiday season?

The marketing ideas for the new year are flowing like crazy for me... I think it's something to do with getting your mind focusing on other things like being with your family that makes ideas pop into your head.

If you've ever read that little book called A Technique For Producting Ideas them you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

I've gathered my "raw materials" all year... Now that I'm focused on other things it frees up my unconscious mind to connect the dots and form new ideas.

How about you?

Everyday, as I work on a website and browse the net I get ideas. They are not limited to just "marketing". Sometimes I kind of hate it because I don't have the resources to work on the ideas that I think are "good".

If I let myself go, I would never be able to focus on one thing because I would go from one idea to the other never really focusing.

It is great that you are getting a lot of new ideas. However, remember time is precious. The time you use, you never get back. So use it wisely. Don't spread yourself thin.

Happy Holidays! Make sure you write all of these ideas down

I had to learn that lesson the hard way years ago lol...

Good thing all my ideas these days are designed to simplify my business instead of make it more complex.

      Happy holidays back at chya.

I'm all about new ideas. And when it comes to different ways to getting traffic... the new ideas notion is definitely prominent. One of my new year's resolution is to focus only on the marketing techniques that will make my website profitable. I did things/techniques that just wasn't effective and didn't produce alot of income for me. Next year it's gonna be totally different.

Being home from college definitely helps, but yea, i totally agree. Just being around commerce more and seeing the way and the why of how people buy helps my mind wrap around concepts way better than before.

Nice. I'm planning an overhaul too. Hindsight is 20/20 they say

By the way... I love Charleston. I used to live in Florence and work in Darlington.

When I relax a little and get myself a day or a few more off, I too get this spark of ideas in my head. I presume it's just the way the human brain works - if you focus on one thing for a longer period of time too much, you have to take a rest then to renew the inner power of your mind.

That's why I also don't work 7 days a week. The days I work are usually Monday-Saturday, on which I do work really hard, but I just rest and slack off on Sundays. This helps me stay active and motivated, because on that day off I can straigthen my mind as to what I really want to achieve in the foreseeable future and set out my plans crystal clear.

I have a bunch of marketing ideas on my mind now which I'll try to make the reality in 2012.
