Blogger isn't actually a whole lot better, Oswald. Countless Warriors have lost their sites there, too. And the fact that it's free is a terrible reason to use it.

There are safe, secure, free hosting/blogging facilities available at places like Weebly, Yola, Blinkweb, 000WebHost and Byethost, for this purpose.

On Blogger, you can never own or control "your own" site, and you have their ever-changeable terms of service to worry about, not to mention their idiosyncratic and inconsistent interpretations of them. Which is why so many Warrior-bloggers have suddenly lost their sites there. Learn from their mistakes and avoid their problems.

It's not about the money. It's about the terms of service.

The sites on which to avoid dependence, for these reasons, are Blogspot/Blogger, Wordpress.com, Squidoo and HubPages.

If anyone wants details, this thread will help those willing to read it carefully enough: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...y-website.html

You don't have to pay anyone anything to have your own Wordpress blog on your own hosting. There's just no need to take an ever-ongoing chance on using Blogger. Blogger gives you nothing that you can't get elsewhere without paying.

      I had two wordpress blogs
Put an affiliate link in one blog
Three days later, wordpress blocked the blog
I really got angry and stopped working with WP blogs
Few months later, I was just thought to check the other blog
300-400 monthly traffic and WP was publishing own ads on the blog
I got jealous .................................................. ..and deleted the blog

Create account in blogger.com, post some posts in it and then apply for adsense. You may get adsense account soon through blogger.

You "can" monetize a WP.com blog, but once they find out you will be suspended.

It happened to me, but I already knew it wasn't allowed when I did it, so I knew it was bound to happen eventually.

LOL I just bought a domain & hosting & when they caught me and now I run a WP.org for my blog.

If you're serious about using your blog to make money, get a host and a domain and launch your Wordpress blog. Wordpress free blogs don't allow commercial use and Blogger blogs often get deleted. All it takes is someone to hit the report spam on Blogger for it to go bye-bye.

I also suggest you to go for a self hosted wordpress blog. Find some cheap and reliable host and start you business.
