How does this RAP automatic opt-in feature work? What exactly is it?

    On confirmation from Paypal, of a purchase of a RAP sold product,
    the purchaser's email is added to the RAP installation's database.
    Optionally, if you have one of many supported autoresponder
    accounts, you can also setup RAP to add that same Paypal email
    to a designated list.

    There is also an an auto optin add-on that allows you to send to multiple autoresonders if you have a JV partner

    You also have the option to segment lists per product. One list for product and one for the OTO (buyers funnel).

    This is helpful if you set up a giveaway product (front end list builder) with complimenting OTO (buyer list builder). Or low cost product with higher end OTO.

    Nice thing with RAP is you can set up a buyers funnel from the start and pretty much automate it with a creative marketing strategy.

    I also always recommend using single optin for any buyers list. Just make sure the first few follow up emails focus on thanking them for their purchase, making sure the buyer is getting along with using your product, offer additional 'unannounced' bonuses, etc.

    Have never had a problem with doing it this way and most service providers will have automation processes to transfer giveaway subscribers/to buyers lists, etc.
