Low Conversions! What's Wrong With My Website??

Can you guys please review my website?

can you warriors give me some help with my site?
what exactly must be done to get conversions?

Converting traffic seems to be my main issue atm

My site has made little sales this month and I don't think I've grasped the idea of "Pre-Selling" can someone tell me what's wrong with my site and what i need to do to improve:

ill listen to anything, I don't care how critical you are.

When you say "little sales", how many exactly?

How many hits, clicks have you received?
Where is the traffic coming from?

Its a somewhat big ticket item that buyers looking for it will most likely do some heavy research first.

It does look OK to me. One problem might be that it is winter. What are your traffic numbers, conversion % etc?

If I sould point out one thing is the image. You might benefit from having more bike and less christmas deal in your photos. That is just a guess though.

I would manually create a "side-by-side" comparison of the leading bike's features and price.

Google "Bicycle recalls" and see what comes up - add this on its own page..

Move all those nav bars - which are just there for compliance anyways - to the footer. Honestly, you make no money if anyone clicks them so why bother?

Your reviews are really descriptions. Lose the tabs.

four $300 sales on 400-450 clicks?

Sounds pretty good to me on an item of that price range that is seasonal...

it's really not that much when you only get 4%.

i need more volume, during November time i had little to no conversions at all...

I'm not saying "you" made much but roughly a 1% sales conversion sounds ok for a larger item such as this.

Bikes are recalled just like cars are. A quick Google search shows, for example:

Bridgeway Recalls Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard (September 22, 2011)

Description: This recall involves "NEXT"-branded men's 26-inch hybrid bicycles. The bicycles are red or orange. "Power X" and "Suspension" are printed on the frame. Model numbers LBH2611M and LBH2611M2 are included in this recall. The model number is located on the frame between the pedals
So if you were buying a Bridgeway - either new or used - this information would be useful.

Thinking about it - this site really only makes really money when a person is ready to buy when they land on the site. A very rare occurrence - hence the low conversions. How do you make money when a visitor is at ANY stage of the purchase process? For example, rewrite what you find when you Google "Exercises for Bikers" and create a free, downloadable (kindle/nook/pdf) ebook that will get them to fill out a form to get the book. In the form, ask them for their current bike and future bike purchases. Now you have a list for a "buying alert" newsletter! Just an idea.

I think it will be a good idea to tweak the links on your main menu a bit and add a search function, so users can search for content on the site.

I'd suggest links to different types (or categories) of bikes, and please increase the font size of the menu. Highlight your bestsellers (or high value items) in the menu instead of "contact, diclaimer, privacy & terms. Move the current links to the bottom of the page.

What you really want to do is to highlight your money-makers for your site visitors (that includes using relevant images, bold text, a bold logo and many other things) but for a start, you need to take a closer look at your menu items and your logo.

You might not want to have your disclaimer, privacy policy and terms of use in the menu. Put it in the footer of your website. Along with that, you have two identical menus, both near the top, therefore I would suggest you make a difference between those menus or get rid of one.
