Multiple Businesses? DBAs? How to have payment processing for all businesses?

I am in the process of running multiple businesses but need to know the best way to go about creating each one.

Is it best to have a DBA for each business so when clients/customers pay to your business. They are paying to that business "name" and not one of your others.

You would get a DBA for each and have to create a bank account for each?

How does this normally work? If someone can help me out .

Every time you are doing business under a name that is not your own personal name, you need a DBA (which stands for Doing Business As).

Alongside a DBA, you can register for a tax id number. With that completed, you can go to the bank and acquire a business bank account. You can choose to open your business account under your business name.

Note: You can use the same tax id number for multiple DBAs.

Depending on the size of your businesses, it might be more benificial if you look into registering a corporation and filing all DBAs under the corporation as apposed to filling them under your personal name.

      So for example:
      Business Fitness
I would need a Paypal, Checking Account, Merchant Account.

      Business Internet
I would need the same. Paypal, Checking and Merchant Account.

I would have to have an account of each with both so that way when they pay to Fitness. It goes to my Fitness paypal, checking? Same with "business internet"?
