Advice needed on affiliates who do nothing...

I have a bunch of affiliates in WSO Pro who over time have signed up to promote my WSO's. Problem is, a whole bunch of them have sent zero traffic.

Is it wise to delete them?

Are they affecting my epc's in any way?

It's really strange, I've had some big name players sign up and do nothing. What's that all about?

Are they just looking at what I'm doing?

Would like to hear your experiences in dealing with this.

Thanks.

Warmest regards,

Stewart

That doesn't affect your EPC unless they bring in junk traffic to your WSO.

Stewart, whether it's WSO Pro or any other affiliate program, what you're seeing is perfectly normal.

A lot of affiliates will sign up for programs with good intentions, then either get sidetracked or find a better-fitting offer. I have to confess to doing this myself, although I've never looked at WSOP.

Unless they do something hinky, I wouldn't delete them. You never know when someone will have an opening to promote your product and become more active.

EPC typically stands for either 'earnings per click' or 'earnings per hundred visitors'. Either way, affiliates who have not sent traffic won't affect the stat.

If you have the means to communicate with them, you could try sending promotional tips, tools they can use (like articles, blog posts, emails, etc.), and anything else you can think of to get them moving. Just use a little restraint.

Maybe only focus on the one or two that are helping you build their business instead.

    Stewart,

If they are guys that you know are "big name" players and they are not promoting perhaps it might be an idea to email them and ask them.....

What can I provide you with that will help you promote....

The more you offer them in terms of affiliate tools the more likely they mail for you.....

It might be as simple as offering them some mailing copy.

    Regards

    Chris

hello Stewart i faced this too when i first lunched my wso , i have move than 30 affliates signing up to promote my wso but only two of them did the work and when i contacted each of them some said that i need to them more incentives to start the promotion like a contest or something and some of them said they are using a program which send a request to every new product on wso pro .and this explain why they weren't active ..
but don't worry you dont know when they will start the promotion for you .

also i think the affiliates will look to your conversion rate so consider this .

i hope you get a better understanding now

    regards
