Happy Christmas folks

I joined a few months ago. I found the most awesome generous woman called Rosetrees and she gave me a ton of help to make my blog look great.

I joined the war room and received some great info from there.

Then I hired a web designer and asked him to redesign my whole site to refect my work. I coach people to happiness.

The designer is amazing and he set me a simple task. He told me to work on my writing and books outside of working hours and to network with other writers and establised coaches the rest of the time.

I did this and then one day I received a message from a woman I adore inviting me on to her radio programme.

then I was invited to this

both beyond my wildest dreams even a few months ago.

guess what I am going to do

yup I am going to wash, rinse and repeat !

My ebook is called Self Esteem how to find it, build it and keep it.

I want to ask your opinion.

I read a book yesterday called Free.....

Instead of charging $17 for this book I want to give it away for free.

I was toying with the idea of writing a note for my facebook page explaining that the quality of the blog and the free books could be even more amazing if the ads covered my costs.

ie folks if you click on the ads I get paid and if I get paid I can write more..

what do you think....... I think a great deal of people think we get paid for those adverts and dont realise that we only get paid if they click.

do you think they would click more if they knew this and thought it would get them more free stuff? ie there is a free report on my site that is very popular

    Asking people to click on adverts just for the sake of it is considered fraud by most people, it costs companies money for no benefit and if they see unusual click patterns coming from your direction I think they will not be so forgiving..

    It is a legitimate question and I had it once (never asked) since I figured it would be slightly unethical

    Get people to opt in to get the free ebook. That way you will be able to make a list and sell to it.

    thank you that is why I paid good money to join here.

    You are so right of course.... I might be the person paying for one of those ads someday. Def not ethical to ask people to click on them to support the blog.

    I started with mail chimp and lost about 2/3 or my list when I moved to imnica mail but I am really glad I did this at my first 200 and not my first 10,000

    concentrate on building the list then...... upsell quality products to them once they have received a ton of great free stuff.

    I see this formula starting to work already as I am getting some coaching clients from my fb page. you guys are awesome thank you xxx

    This is great news Carol. I agree, get an opt-in to create a list. You can use your list to announce new products and send periodic uplifting messages; words of encouragement. Then offer your loyal customers on your list a discount if they purchase your new product by a certain date, being offered to them exclusively for a few weeks, then the price goes up when it is offered to the general public.

    Some people here do FB Fan Pages. Lots of them on fiverr too.

    It's good to see you're using Twitter to leave a link back to your blog. Consider spending some time on Twitter, following people and getting follow backs.

    The best thing is to give most of your best content for free and people will gladly pay for the extra content if your free content is of great quality. Yes using your list is one of the best things and get some Facebook fan page templates, I have some free ones if you want you can message me

    That'll get your Adsense account banned if you're using Adsense. It's against Adsense TOS to entice or ask people to click on the ads or incentivise it in any way.

    That will get most affiliate accounts banned as well as adsense. Why do that when you have invested your time/money_ Go legit.. it will take a little longer to make money but at east it will be long term earnings.
