Better check your Clickbank Links

Hey just a quick heads up. I just tried to shorten a Clickbank link on bit.ly. When I went to test the link a bit.ly screen showed up saying that Clickbank.net has been blacklisted.

You all had better check any links you made for clickbank products through bit.ly

I've been told tracking202 is the BEST for self hosted tracking! It's expensive tho. Somewhere in the $200+ range but Ive been in the backend and it's amazing!! Stats Better than google analytics in my opinion!

Next time you're at a McDonald's Playplace and someone asks you, "Aww which one is yours?" Say, "I haven't picked one out yet..."

Im selling 2 adwords accounts with $100 in each account for $30! $200 value! PM me only!

I'm using Bud URL. I like the tracking and the interface is simple. They also have a clickstream that updates every 10 seconds, which is pretty cool. You can actually see your clicks in real time.
If you do decide to try it here's my affiliate link. http://budurl.com/5ipburl
      Good luck!

Why don't you just use your own site with a redirect? Pluggins like the Pretty Link one work great for it if you can't code.

Maybe adf.ly ? Then you can also earn on the URL shortening itself ... though I haven't tried it for Clickbank.

Or HopClicks- The Official URL Shortener for Clickbank Demon, that claim to be the "official" Clickbank shortening service.

I've noticed alot of URL shortners are disabling Clickbank affiliate links. As previously mentioned Tinyurl still works fine, but I would highly recommend prettylinks (it's free) which gives you a an affiliate a whole lot more control.

Why would anyone use an outside link-shortening site? Do you realize how easily an unscrupulous operator could hijack all of your links???

Buy a 5-letter domain and do the redirects yourself.

I've gone with Pretty Links also. Time to move away from those third party url shorteners. People are not trusting them as many of them have been used for phishing, spam, and other bad things.

I second Pretty Links (WordPress plugin). You have all of the stats right there on your dashboard that you can easily see and you have the security and piece of mind that no one is messing with YOUR links.

Pretty Links is always a great way to track clicks if you run solo ads

Make that ANY third party link shortening service.

As discussed many, many times on the WF, you should never trust a third party for your affiliate links as you ultimately have no control over them.

The best solution is to either have your affiliate links per site, or you can set up your own service so you can use a bit.ly like environment (but under your control)

I'm using budurl.com. It's a subscription service so you can shorten ANY link you want and not worry about black listing. I also really like their tracking ability.

I also use PrettyLinks, and it works very well. Rather be in control of your links, the suggestion of registering one specific domain and using that for all your affiliate links is a good idea.
