multiple domains-1 hosting company?

If i register two different domains can i host them both on the same hosting company?

For example:

I register Bluepaint.com and also Redpaint.com

can they both be hosted on Hostgator or an equivalent hosting company?

What should I know about this? Any links to a good article that covers the process.

    Yes - and instructions can be found on Hostgator.

    Inexpensive way - you can use one domain as the main domain and the other as an add-on domain

    If you plan more sites, better to use a reseller account in my opinion. More costly ($25/month should do it) but each site you add has its own cpanel and is independent.

    Hostgator has been running a 1/2 price special - it may be good till end of the year. I picked up an additional reseller account and paid for a full year at half price. Great deal!

    Not sure that an article is necessary, most of the time you can host them on the same account as an add-on domain... though there are som ereally cheap hosting companies that make this a pain... If you have cpanel it should work just fine in most cases...

    Yes, both can be hosted at hostgator. Most hosting companies including hostgator allow you to have an unlimited amount of domain names. You don't need anything else. If you decide to buy a domain name at one company and host at another then all you have to do is change the name server (your host company can show you how easily this is done). There will never be a reason to host a domain name at two different hosting companies at once. Hostgator is one of the best because it allows easy access to wordpress with literally just a click of a few buttons. Message me if you need any more help.
