I've found Yanik Silver and Yaro Starak to be my favorite internet marketers. Both deliver great content and useful advice, but I'm looking for other people to follow.

Anyone else have someone to reccomend?

I like Lisa Irby and Devon Brown - I don't use their stuff in the main, but I like regular video blogs... means I can maybe learn something while I take a break from 'work' and grab something to eat :-)

I agree, sometimes I just get tired of reading and like to listen and'or watch instead. On the other hand, material that can be copy&pasted or printed has it's place too. Hmmm, matter of context, I guess.

I would say there are many of them because most of them have their different approach, different ideas or they cover different parts and aspects of business... My choices would be Key Evoy since I was following him many years before, and my favorite one today would be Ryan Lee, he's a great guy, excellent internet marketer and true professional...

And I am more creative/productive then even.

I was totally into Eben Pagan for a while, but I'm in the same boat as Fernando I am way more progressive now that I'm following communities than forums, plus there is a lot more quality free information to be obtained!

    To the OP,

Well, it depends on what your needs are. I don't really follow any gurus. Personally, I use them for inspirational support. But mostly I try to find things that work for me.

What I mean by inspiration support if they can do it so can I.

Eben Pagan and Mike is some of the top, I've met them both and Eben is really funny and quick witted and Mike, Mike seems to always be with a team of people. They both give really great advice. From my experience when I use to listen to them, Eben is more of the psychology/ product creation guy which will be whoever he needs to be to sell a product and Mike is more of the Marketing guy with solutions on approaching this new generation of marketing.

    Hope this helped
    Good luck

Yanik Silver is excellent. I have been to a couple of his Underground conferences and they were much more useful than other Internet marketing conferences I have been to.

Another favourite of mine is Russel Brunson. His material is great, very focused and easy to follow and nicely laid out.

I like hanging around those that are realistic to their audiences/mentees that "you're going to have to work for it and treat this as the real business it is." Kirt Christensen and Perry Marshall (for adwords), Mike Stewart (for video), Fred Gleeck for product creation come to mind.

I can't say that I "follow" any of the gurus, but I do watch very carefully what the most successful IMers do and I try to pick and choose pieces that will help me with my business.

For example, Eben Pagan in my opinion is the king of content. His email sequences are ridiculously jam-packed with content - that's why I try to over deliver in the email follow-ups, and it works.

Some of the lessons from Frank Kern are priceless and will never stop working - namely his mass control and NLP strategies.

I think (and this is just my honest opinion), that if you really pay attention to the content in the warrior forum, then simply OBSERVE what the top-dogs are doing, you'll be equipped with everything you need to succeed on line. However paying for a good coach to get your business up and running as fast as possible is a wise decision.

My two biggest "name-level" influences are Brendon Burchard and Frank Kern.

The two "under the radar" folks that most influence me are Colin Theriot and Bond Halbert.

Of course, there are well over a hundred people whose opinions matter to me and I pay attention when they speak. Don Wilson, Dr. Ben Adkins, Dennis Becker, Rachel Rofe, Andy Fletcher, Caleb Spilchen, Michael Thorsett, Gene Pimentel, Paul Myers, Steven Wagenheim, Ed Akehurst, David Hughes, Barbara Ling, the list goes on for a week and a half.

Ah yes you say to yourself "i know" i will promote a product via an affiliate program
