Any Substitute for Paypal & Authorize.net Payment Processor?

hi there guys..i recently implemented a free cd(s/h $4.99) plus 30 days free trial to my newsletter ($19.97 after 30 days) type of selling system to one of my niche sites..

because i use paypal for most of my online transactions i tried using them but paypal doesnt allow putting both a product and a subscription together at the same payment...

also i see a significant drop out rate from customers using credit cards to pay me as when they input their card details and click pay, paypal takes them to a sign up page asking them to sign up before processing their order..

i have seen other marketers use Authorize.net(daegan smith, matt bacak) for the exact selling method but i cant use it cuz me and my customers arent US based..anyone can recommend a payment processor that can do this seamlessly?

in paypal, you can set a trial period (for some $). so, it should work for your case.

another alternative is: 2checkout.com. it does not need people create an account. and I noticed that more and more people use it.

Its easy to do with paypal.

Set up a 30 day trial period with a price of $4.99 then set the recurring to be every 30 days at $19.95 after the trial period.

We even integrated our own ecommerce publisher service to automate the on demand print and fulfillment of a physical product, such as what you are trying to do, with email subscriptions, memeberships, blog memeberships, paid podcast and rss subscriptions etc. using PayPal.

So yes, what you describe can be done using paypal and the entire process can be completely automated for fulfillment as well.

This still doesn't solve the issue of customers having to register for and verify paypal accounts before purchasing....

i've used 1shoppingcart.com in the past. good tools and easy integration but the monthly fee really bites.

i've heard good about 2checkout.com, but never used them.

I have used 2checkout.com and was happy except for one thing, I don't like that fact that they desposit your funds weekly.

Another option is ccbill.com - just note they take a larger %

I have Linkpoint - I just use it for phone transactions however.

I just ordered something from the UK and I really liked the
way the merchant account was set up... very pro looking
and gave me confidence. It's protx.com

Our system allows people to also collect payments direct via credit card through the publishers own merchant account. They can use either the authorize.net gateway or durango merchant services gateway. Also we offer 2checkout automation.

i've used 1shoppingcart.com in the past. good tools and easy integration but the monthly fee really bites.
Its far cheaper to use solutions like that and pay a monthly fee and the standard paypal and merchant account fees than to use solutions like clickbank and pay 7.5-9% on each sale.

Also a better automation system usually means higher profits which easily cover the $97 a month it costs to use quality hosted solutions like ours or 1shoppingcart.
