Weird trend to Clickbank sales

INTERNET MARKETING

I don't promote many products on Clickbank, only two which are in the same niche and the same sort of product, ie software.

I don't make much, around $200 a month give or take which the majority is from one site but it's not bad considering it's just from organic traffic and I haven't touched either of the sites in months. The strange thing is, I find it strange anyway, is that I might not make a sale for days and then two come along for the same product always within a few hours of each other.

This has happened 5 times this month alone, and they aren't upsells as far as I'm aware.

Anybody else find this happens?

Well I don't have income from ClickBank, but I've seen similar things happen with a PPC campaign I promote. Nothing for a week, and then bang! Two conversions in one day. It actually happens more often than not, although I can't explain why.

I don't promote clickbank products, but I do promote several other different types of products/services. I have noticed that December crushed me in revenue. It started around Thanksgiving and is still way down, even compared to last years numbers at this time.

People just aren't spending money, and if they are, it was for Christmas and bills, not extras. The economy is not helping. Hopefully, in my case, things will bounce back after New Years.

You are not alone, I am sure there are plenty of others having the same issue.

Yes i see this happening..it's like their tracking gets stuck sometimes. But its all speculation whether its on Clickbank's end or really something "normal".

Ya know, that makes a lot of sense that it could be an issue in Clickbank's reporting, not an actual event that is happening on the net...

Do you track *who* buys your stuff and where they come from?

Is it the same people buying it?

I wouldn't have thought it would be the same people buying, unless they buy one for themselves and another for a friend or something but you never know.

It does make you wonder. I gave up worrying about it a while ago when my commissions were pretty good and then sort of virtually stopped, but now they seem to be coming in twos, just seems odd.

Yep. It isn't just CB related for me neither.

It's a phenomenon that exists across almost everything.

There's "buying vibes". I'm sure of it. Equally you might have a bunch of people complain at the same time and so forth.

Everything comes in bunches.
