Fancy WSO Sales Pages

How do people build those fancy WSO sales pages full of good looking graphics?

I know most use photoshop, but is there any other easier alternative or graphics pack to achieve something similar?

If you are not too familiar with Photoshop you could hire someone to do it for you.

There are also a few products which come with ready made things such as buy now buttons, headers, bullet points etc which you can simply edit in Photoshop by clicking and changing the text, however I can't recall the product names - maybe someone else can post and help you out.

Edit - I just looked and found the name of the product I used, it's called "Marketing Graphics Toolkit".

I tried Word and taking screenshots but doing it that way sucks - it is a very manual process.

Photoshop is much better. Set the size to about 700-800px wide and as long as you need. The rest there are many tutorials online. And it has a splicing tool too so it can export the seperate image parts so you can make some of it clickable.

I could create a WSO about how I did it if there is demand :-)

If PhotoShop is not in your future... There is a very simple to use and cheap program that you can get at Walmart. It's called Logo Design Studio Pro. The learning curve is short and you can bust out a lot of nice sales page graphics fairly quickly.

photoshop + camtasia / corel video studio. Nice combination. Also remember that most psd are available for free. You just need to learn how to edit.

I'm actually working on one of these pages right now. I'm setting it up in Photoshop.

Wondering if anyone knows of a free full image capture program, one that captures a scrolling image as well as what's visible on the screen.

You might want to search the WSO section as well, because there were a couple of WSO's recently that were actually selling these templates and softwares to create the WSO thread.

Photoshop would be your best bet mixed with a few templates and some good old creativity. I have seen some good headline templates being sold in wso section. From there its just having a great product art and buttons. For the most part the are templates.

Obviously Photoshop is the easiest (for those who know how to use it) but if you don't have the program or the required skill set then you could use a program like Optimize Press to create the sales page and then just use a screen capture program to capture that sales page and break it up into smaller images.

Yes, Optimize Press is going to be a little wide for the WSO section but what you can do is just indent all your sales page content so it will fit the width of the WSO forum nicely.

I'll bet $20 they write the sales copy and then call in the outsourcers.

That way you just need to learn .PSD editing and not all the features etc of photoshop.

Why spend hours trying to do something yourself when for a few bucks someone will make the base for you?

In the past I have found its easier to EDIT something than come up with the whole thing from scratch. I can't write HTML or PHP from scratch, but I can EDIT the hell of it for example.

Get a template and work with it is my advice.

Photoshop is definitely your way to set it up! Take some time to learn it, it's worth it.
If not, hire someone, or get an awesome graphics packed WSO - there are heaps out there!

  • I recommend using adobe fireworks, a lot like Photoshop, but much easier to use. Download a 30 day trial, and you will see how easy it is to use. For free training on fireworks check out adobe tv, they have good videos on there. If you really want to learn this is a good way. If you are only looking for a one-time thing, check out fiverr gigs ; )

I have a Mac, and I use a free screenshot software called Capture Me to take short video screenshots and photo screenshots. It's good for capturing anything on your browser.

I use Adobe ImageStyler to create and then Image Ready to slice it. I dont think either are sold now but eBay might have them.

Personally, I use Optimize Press, then take a screen shot and upload that to my server. But, just because your WSO sales page looks cool doesn't mean it will convert. Sales are driven more by what the page says, and how it says it, than how it looks. I've seen several really cool looking pages, but when I look at the conversion rate for that product it's abysmal.

I just threw up a review page yesterday using jing. Jing is free, it caputres video and pics. It only took about 20 minutes.

I actually got the format idea from some of those fancy wso's. I use jing to capture the images, but I was going to use photoshop to edit the edges of my captures like they were cut out of a newspaper or something, but it was taking too long (not as skilled with photoshop as I thought I was ).

I'm sure knowing a bit of html helps too, I think I will edit my text it looks a little dull, here is the page if you want to take a look digital-products-reviews.com

It came out better than I thought it would, but I think it still needs work. If anyone has tips I am welcomed to any. thanks
