I'm seeing a new trend that I'm not loving.

Disclaimer: This is just how I feel... don't beat me up for it.

I buy a WSO and can't wait to download it and bam... a OTO...
Darn... ok, it's usually something I can't pass up, so I buy the
OTO and again, can't wait to get to the product and then...

BAM... my OTO has a OTO!!!

What???

I'm feeling rather angry and somewhat abused at this point.

Yes, its marketing and yes its business... But I don't like it.

Am I alone in feeling this way?

    All that money on WSO's?

Sounds like it might be cheaper to pursue a PHd! lol

    So just don't buy it.

    OTO's aren't going anywhere.

When I'm buying a wso and an OTO comes up, I know it's probably something I will want, but if I don't read the sales pitch I don't really care. So I skip it .

The first assumption is wrong... I don't spend a lot on WSO's

And secondly, I'm not talking about OTOs... I am talking about 2TO!
    I thought that was clear.

I agree with you, it's very frustrating the amount of OTO's people are putting in their courses. It would be nice to know before buying the WSO how many OTO's are going to be in it and how much they are.

Sometimes, OTO is misused by marketers lor.

There are great OTOs that you feel so "happy" to buy more,
but for some, they give me a feeling that I was "cheated" in buying the original product.

When I see marketers say upfront that there is a OTO and what
it is, I have much more respect for them. And yes, sometimes I
also feel cheated and regret the purchase if I feel I have been
blind-sided. But one OTO (hence the name) is surely sufficient!

Fist of all, I dislike the 2TO as well. I think one is enough. If you have a third product you want to sell, you should build a great list using the product you are selling and promote your product to me next week.

I am not a fan of OTO's that you need to make the original product work. I have bought a few products in the past that were basically teasers, and they were geared to selling the OTO. They were there basically to show an idea or "system" that would work great... only if you buy the OTO.

Angela, I totally agree with you. All these OTO's become really annoying and it does feel at times like abuse to the purchaser. Its seems like some IMers are just trying to see how much can be squeezed out of buyers.
