Writing quality Content?

like the above poster said, you can hire content writers right here on this forum. Just be aware of the 'discount' writers, sometimes you get what you pay for.

I would suggest that you write your own original content and then have someone who is well-spoken in English edit the content for you. Perhaps you could barter and have this done in exchange for something you could offer the other person.

Also, if you have it written by someone else, make sure that you Copyscape, or otherwise check the content for plagiarism. There seems to be a lot of that going around in the industry right now.

Like cycler said, you tend to get what you pay for. There are a lot of desperate people in the world right now. Remember that.

To all of the above that mention hiring, I do like your suggestions ( hiring from odesk, checking for plargirism, etc..) But right now, those solutions won't apply to me just yet as I do want to only hire once the income stream appears.

Writing content for a website isn't difficult. It's not like school. Just write like you are talking to a friend -- making sure to answer any common questions they might have about whatever you are promoting. Also, try to keep your reviews between 400 and 450 words. Conversions tend to suffer when your reviews are really long.

Buy software like Dragon Naturally speaking, perhaps. It can speed up the process a lot, potentially, it seems.

One thing I do is write a bunch of draft content in one niche and then once I have maybe 5-10 short drafts, I can usually combined and edit it to make one reasonably decent article about a certain topic. I find I can write short drafts really fast, but if I sit there a while, it can take a lot longer to create quality content.

OK. Here are your issues.
1. You say you'll only hire once you make money. Yet you say you won't hire someone til you make money. That's a problem for you in itself.
2. I am a writer AND a proofreader/editor so I offer both or either service.
3. It sounds like you NEED to hire someone to get you to a point where you can earn money.

Please correct me if I am wrong on any of those points but it really does sound like you need someone now so you can get some runs on the board instead of trying to do something you hate and aren't good at.

Yea - it sounds as if you are wanting someone to tell you that you can succeed by publishing your own "poor quality" content.

I don't think anyone here is going to tell you that - although it wouldn't be entirely impossible...but your conversions would suffer tremendously.

Unfortunately, there's no magic pill you can take, Drift. You are at a crossroad, it seems.

How about purchasing a TLD of the country of your first language - creating a website in that language, and then using the money from that venture to fund your English campaign???

About the coversion, what is it excatly? How google views the site? I also want to know how much it is to hire a writer? Possibly two to five articles per day?

* Your writing doesn't seem bad to me, I've seen worse.

* Are you trying to target a specific market? Are you using specific keywords? What is the niche you're trying to target? These are all questions you'll need to answer before you can figure out the types of articles you would like to post.

* How are you going to gain if you aren't writing content for yourself right now, bringing in targeted traffic, and selling your products and services?

Here is a tip... By book on writing and learn as much as you can. The important thing to understand here is - even though you find a writer to write content for you, how will you know if it's any good? Learning to write doesn't mean you have to be a professional at it to make money, but once you learn it - it can be a valuable tool down the road.

For now, if you don't want to write content, and you are waiting until you make money to hire a writer, you may find yourself with a bigger problem.

I apperciate your suggestion Stephen ! I'm a little more persuade to write my own content but I'm not quite aware of the conversion you guys were talking about which seems like something I should know about before I do what I do.

Put love into your content. If you don't love the subject, why bother?

Don't hire content writers. They will not love writing your content.

That means it will not be special.

When you love your stuff, you will learn to write the best article. People really do notice the difference. And that's when they spread the word.

1) Stop thinking about money.
2) Stop thinking that articles,adsense,amazon,jesus will make money for you
....They won't. You will.
3) Start thinking about how you can improve yourself.
4) As you grow your business will grow alongside with you.

It's all about personal development (80%) Scientifically proven.

If you don't do it -- nobody else will do it for you. Think virgin Mary will do it for you?

I don't mean to be rude, but you sound like the average lazy boy who tries to make tons of money in exchange for not doing anything yourself. That's not how it works. You will not succeed that way.

When I say "succeed", I don't say it the way you think I am. I'm not talking about making money. Yes, a lot of people will make some money, some will make a lot... but they have not succeeded because they feel like crap about what they did to make money. They will not be personally fulfilled, because they didn't love what they were doing.

Ahaha! Are you a profiler or am I just too obvious? I guess your words did shook me thinking that the IM formula I researched about would defiantly make money. Which now I know it won't as everything would be determined by how I execute it. Farewell, Naive mind.

I like how you mention putting love into the content but even if I'm going to write content on the topic I love. I afraid that my writing going to ruin the website reputation and ruin the conversion.

If you want to hire someone to create your content for you, it is always a plus if they know (and with luck, have a passion for) your niche. Otherwise, the content may end up sounding robotic, like rewritten research.

It's not always enough to hire someone who can write good English. Good English is just the quality of the paint. It's what the writer actually does with that English that creates a masterpiece.

I have literally NEVER gotten satisfactory results from oDesk. Maybe others' experiences differ from mine, but I will likely never return to that site again.

My advice...

Save up 50 bucks. Visit the Warriors for Hire section or a site like Guru.com and find writers in the 10-dollar-an-article neighborhood. Find someone whose bio and/or sales copy absolutely reeks of both professionalism and the intangibles (humor, wit, charm, personability, etc).

Find the writer who gives you the most certainty and hire him or her to write 5 articles for you.

Put those articles on your blog, do the proper SEO (or whatever other promotion techniques you happen to favor), and see how they perform.

If the results knock your socks off, then you may have found yourself a permanent content provider. If not, then go sell your blood, wash some windows, or play the spoons on a street corner, save up another 50 bucks, and try again.

Bottom line, when you go cheap, you're taking a greater chance of being disappointed than if you hire a professional. There are exceptions, but I'd play the odds if I were you.

I would also suggest looking at PLR content and just get someone on sites like content authority to re-write a unique version.

I have been using this strategy for a number of my authority blogs and just costs me $3-$4 for a fairly decent re-written article instead of $10 if I was to get someone to write a high quality article on textbroker from scratch.

Try sites like Guru.com and Elance.com. Checkout the portfolios of the writers and their rates. It may be hard to find a writer with experience in your niche but if you do take time and search, you might find one with a match for your writing needs and budget. As a faster route to find a writer for your content area, advertize at sites like Craiglist.com. Good luck to you.

I have done this as a newbie mainly through lack of time in sitting down and doing it myself, but one thing that I would suggest is learning how to write copy so as you know the difference between good and bad.
It is true you pay for what you get in this life and when I did it I found a writer that used to sell the product that I had and this proved invaluable.
Buy a couple of books on it, you don't have to actually write but knowing what you are buying is half the battle.

Writing good content is relative concept .. For starters if you dont know how to write good contents try doing a google search and find some relative sites .. it will give you some reference for the Content ...

I currently spend a lot of time improving my writing, and im basically using the following tools:

1. Best Grammar Checker and Proofreading Software by Grammarly
2. Grammar Girl :: Quick and Dirty Tips ™

Grammarly is amazing as far as spell check and checking for plagiarism.

If you listen to Grammar Girl enough, you might end up being an English Professor lol.

Please let me know what you think about these tools.

yeah, I agree with most of the suggestions here. I you don't have the full talent to write, then ask or pay someone to pay for you. Just make sure that each articles/write-ups are unique and are not just copied from any other resources. Also, hire those who are good in grammars and punctuation. Just some thoughts to guide you.

DriftZ, didacus had some great resources for you. I love Grammar Girl, I think she keeps it easy.
Textbroker's author blog also has some tips for authors about more technical grammar issues, like comma placement textbroker. com/blog
But other posters had it right: before you either write or hire a writer, think about three things:
1. What should this piece do? Make me an expert, prompt a purchase?
2. Who is my audience? Why is my product appealing to them?
3. What's the subject, and why is my take on it different from everyone else?
Once you've got these three things answered, it will be easier to write an effective piece, whether you write it yourself or you have someone else write it for you. If you have someone else write it, you'll be able to judge if the piece followed your instructions.

I have found what I think is a pretty good method . To get my writing juices flowing I pay $20 for 16 articles on iwriter.

I have found the research the junior writers do is excellent albeit the grammar is from good to poor.

Next I run the articles through Best Grammar Checker and Proofreading Software by Grammarly

Best Grammar Checker and Proofreading Software by Grammarly really works.

Next I flesh out the article and if I doubt my grammar I run the articles through Best Grammar Checker and Proofreading Software by Grammarly again.

When I'm finished I have 20 to 30 nice articles for $20 and an hour or two of work.
