    So move somewhere else.

    Is this really worth a thread?

      It is just an opportunity to whine about what he cannot do, rather than to focus on those things that he can do and do well.

    Try using Skimlinks or Viglink and avoid the problem altogether... it's free and let's you promote a multitude of programs... including Amazon... makes no difference what state you live in... I use Skimlinks on all of my sites and am very happy with it so far... makes life so much easier for a number of reasons and includes tracking and other features for your site...

    Hope that helps...

      i don't do amazon, so maybe this question is just dumb, but it was the first thing i thought of when i read your reply.

      If amazon says no, and you do a work around to do it anyway,
      what happens when they cut the check ?

      or do you have to have a work around to get payed as well ?

        Amazon doesn't pay you... Skimlinks does... Amazon pays Skimlinks... they take a small percentage and then pay you once you've accrued $10 in your account which is not hard to do... go to the site and read what they're all about and how it works... same with Viglink and Squidoo... they all issue you a commissions check... Amazon or the affiliate programs pay them and then they pay you... so it doesn't matter where you live... you're not signing up with Amazon... you're signing up with Skimlinks or whatever....

    I believe in some States in the US they have banned affiliates because of the local tax laws and how it affects them as a company.

        My pleasure... glad to help... =}

        There's another way around the problem also, but it's not on your own websites... you can use Squidoo and their Amazon or eBay modules etc too... I create Squidoo sites for backlinks to my main niche sites for a little extra "marketing" and traffic... I've made a number of sales there too... Just have to play by their rules...

        Good Luck... Wishing ya's success...
