I used a Google Adwords campaign, but guess what, I spent hundreds before earning the one hundred, and then it just stopped. Nothing more came in after that. And a few days later the program was gone, too.

My wife wasn't impressed.

Yeah, but that was then. I didn't know about WF, and I gave up on IM soon after that. If it wasn't for finding WF, I still wouldn't be back. This place is solid (for the most part), and I have renewed hope and more focus!

I made my first $100 online in 2008 by making 4 sales of a Clickbank product I was promoting (each sale paid out $31.85 if I remember correctly...)

I've moved on to other things since then, but Clickbank was a nice start for me (and I still make some Clickbank sales even though it is not my primary source of online income).

I made my first $100 back in 2001 with Paypal replicating webpages where if you bought the product, you also got the webpage with your own Paypal button. People loved that concept of their own pay button. That also doesn't work anymore.

One of the other ways I made $100 back then was a program called "The $5 page" where you got paid $5 for every email address you collected. I would like to remake a program like that using Clickbank.

I made my first $100 riding a bicycle throwing newspapers at doors about 40 years ago. I made my first $1000 sweeping and shoveling wood chips, sawdust, and board ends in a truss factory when I was 16.

I made my first $100 online having Geocities accounts hosting pictures of hot bikini girls back in the day when Geocities shared banner ad revenue with their site builders. Now those were the golden days.....Throw a few pictures up on a free hosting service and make $150/month doing nothing...

It's so difficult for us in Africa to benefit from sites like Clickbank; especially in Nigeria where we are erroneously tagged fraudulent just because of the activities of a few dishonest individuals. I wonder if there's anybody here who operates from Nigeria who uses any site that operates like clickbank but accepts Nigerians.

Gosh this thread is funny because I really had to think how I made my first $100 online. It was back in 2004 and I got this big idea to start an Ebay business, so I decided to sell mens clothing and shoes. I remember going to one local thrift store and found some Timberland boots and some Tommy Bahama shorts.

I think everything cost less than $10 it was half price day Anyway I put everything up on Ebay not knowing if it would sell or not. A couple of days later I started getting bids. The final bids total around $150 or so. I was both amazed and hooked that I could actually make money doing this. I did very well for a while but quickly got burned out and decided making my own websites would be much easier.

It was a few years later before building my own websites would pay off.

I made mine with clickbank. It was back when I was still in highschool and I read Bum Marketing (I think it was called..) and wrote a couple articles promoting a product. I didn't make anything within a couple weeks and gave up. 6-8 months later those 2-3 articles suddenly made me 300+ dollars, so obviously my first $100 was within that $300. I was kicking myself for giving up so quickly.

For the course of a week I was spending about €5 per day and making €20 per day.

Bing then started charging for the API calls so I'm looking for an alternative.
