I made my first sales selling woodworking products on a blog that I set up.

I made my first money online using affiliate marketing and adwords to drive traffic.

With skinny Adsense sites.... 10+ sites made me about $300 per day each, I was pretty happy with that!

At least I was until the god hand of Google struck me down....

Well my first adventure in IM was blogging. I thought to myself that I enjoyed writing and I have been told that I alway have an opinion on things so blogging was the natural choice. Of course I did my research and after a couple of days I found the niche I was going to enter. Armed with a few decent affiliate links I made some decent money with a week or so.

2 month in I thought to myself how I could scale up my business and my income stream and that was when I decided that Amazon program was right for me. Being a established brand I knew I could incorporate my successful blog with the Amazon Astore links and I could be on to a real winner. In fact that was exactly what happened. I tweaked a few things, added some new elements and within 2 weeks I found that my income went up by 30%

It was only last month that i recorded my best ever month - $6400

7 years ago I started doing Paid Surveys in my off time.

I started a blog with CPA (Survey Sites) and Adsense and continued to build blogs.

Then I gravitated to email marketing and have not looked back !

I first did back in the days with Clickbank, it was a 25$ sale I think. But the real profit began to come in when I start promoting high ticket affiliate items or services.

I used a site and ugly squeeze page. Converted well though... if you knew the niche you would understand why lol. Got my first sale in college. 2 in one day. Didn't really know what the heck i was doing, or why i got a sale. I was just reading and listening to others, and following what they say. I was amazed though, was a great feeling.

I started building websties 15 years ago. Then I put Google adsense on them and some months I paid the rent with adsense. Then I got into building software and made a lot more. Got hit pretty good with some of the Google changes last year, but now going strong again.

Blogging and Reviews are still making people money. Its best to actually buy the product and give a real analysis rather then guess work. You make MUCH more sales that way.

Google pretty much smacked the face of every Internet Marketer with their Updates. If Only their was another Search Engine that was as good....A Company wont care about its customers until a strong competitor comes along.

Selling phone cases via my eCommerce site. Was very surprised to see a sale pop up out of no where about a month in! Not huge money but still a good feeling. Now working to become profitable on Teespring.

I have been a Linkedin Addict.
Had a list of 22000 people, exported it, verified the list by an email verifier and got down to 13000 people.

Used a high converting affiliate offer, and got my first sale on the second day!
The money is in the list definitely.

Craigslist, forums and Yahoo answers helped a lot.

I made the first sales with Email list, write an ebook and record some technical tutorial videos in my niche, then package all of them as a giveaway. Driving traffic by sharing on forums, the first sales came in when the list grew to nearly 2.000 subcribers, yes, the conversion is not very lucrative (1/2000)

For some reason a google blogger blog of mine ranked well in google search for hair styles of celebrities and I made 10€ or so every month for almost a year. For newbies I'd recommend building a list as fast as possible and learning everything about list building in general. Man, I'd be a millionare now if I started doing that 4 years ago. I created several niche sites and placed Adsense on them. Learned about how to incorporate keywords into content along the way, which increased site traffic. The niches paid small, but the accumulated monthly money was between $500 - $1000 a month...until Panda hit. Only one of those sites remains and it still earns, but much less than it used to...things change online and you have to roll with the tide.

I remember paying $100 for one guy's Adsense information. Yes, that's a lot of money, but I've wasted far more on info that was junk. Anyway, I trusted him because he made thousands in Adsense. After I made changes on my sites thanks to his info, My earnings from Adsense increased. Oh, those were the days.
