I earned an affiliate check for $35 from Yahoo way back in 1998. The check was made out to my website name and I didn't have a bank account, so I couldn't deposit or cash it. I still have the check. It is framed now as a reminder of where I've been, where I am going.

Mine was with FOREX back in 2010. Just got lucky, perhaps. I surely had sleepless nights working with candlesticks and predicting the rise and fall of basic currencies. It took me about a week.

My first $100 was made in 2001 about a week after I launched my first ecommerce store. Those were the days of a lot less competition. It now takes my newly launched stores about a month to make their first $100.

2008 with a "Build A Niche" (BANS) website. I was too naĂ¯ve back then to scale it up and build tons of sites. It was way easier to make money back then, but I wasn't that interested. Angela |

Once I sold my Blog for 100$ back in 2008, I wrote like 30-40 articles about tech and after 1-2 months I got PR2 ranking from Google. Good nostalgic times |

My first $100 was made on day 1 of a website launch of a subscription based service. I had 20 folks sign up on first day at $6.99 each x each month. Within 7-8 months recurring revenue was over $5k/month. To be honest it took me about 6-7 months to go from idea to initial website launch. The site ran making $5-6k/month for about 3 years strong then revenues dwindled due to my niche not being as popular any more. Current the site still makes about $1k/month and there is some room to grow but it is tough.

With 800 videos what are you doing? Surely you have tried to send traffic to affiliate offers, use adsense...or some method to make money. It hardly seems possible. Look around the WF for ideas or ask the warriors for help. -- | |

When i first started earning money on internet i started with those scams like bux.to and stuff like that i tried making youtube but failed at it. I tried many stuff then i found a secret method that worked for like 3 months only. I earned like 100$ a day, then the website changed something so i couldnt make anymore. I sometimes hate changes.

I've made my "first $100" so many times that I can't even remember half of them. Here's a few: My very first nonemployee check hundred dollars came from writing for the content mills (text broker/iwriter/constant content) back when that was a big thing to do. I think I made my first hundred dollars within two or three days at five dollars a pop per article. You can imagine how many articles it took, and why it took two or three days. I'm very grateful for that experience because it made me a better writer (volume is an excellent way to practice a skill), but I wouldn't recommend that course today. My second first hundred dollars came from client work writing sales copy. That took about 24 hours, and it was much more than $100. I simply ran Facebook ads to a sales page and had someone pay me through PayPal for a project. If you're first starting out online and in business, I can't think of a better learning process than freelancing. However, it is a nightmare of a business and in my opinion WAY WORSE than working for a corporation. Instead of one boss you have 50 (or however many clients you have). I got out of that business really quick. My third first hundred dollars came from Kindle sales. That took about 30 days from idea to actually earning the money from launching the book. I still do this today. My fourth first hundred dollars came from information marketing/product sales online. I'm in multiple niches, but the first hundred dollars that I earn from that took me about a week from idea to money and PayPal. That being said, information marketing is the one that scaled the fastest. I went from $100 to $50,000 in a single month really, really quickly. I haven't found a business that scaled that quickly. The thing to remember is that you won't make a dime until you find one thing and focus on it UNTIL it makes you money. Every hour you spend doing something else simply forces the money earning process to take longer. Focus is more important than you can even imagine. |

Made my first $100 online in 2012 by writing content for an Indian forum. Made a total of $1,000 2012-2013 for working for the same person on Freelancer. In 2014 I started a new income stream - Kindle publishing and I made +$7,000 in 1.5 years. Today you can apply the same strategies to make your first, but you need to work harder. Competition is everywhere. |

Yeah, unless you find clients that are willing to pay well for quality content (and you deliver said quality content) content creation isn't really profitable. Lots of work for little return. Same goes wit logo creation and like services. You can make more money in less time at a part time fast-food job. |

Actually, I earned more than this doing online. What I did was I always searched for something which really provides income or money. You can also post and upload videos which are eye-catching to everyone.

I earned $27 it with PTC (Paid To Click) site that doesn't exist anymore... Called PTCircle.. Than I invested $100 for a membership and increased my earnings to $470 per month and it didn't took so long.. The site went down after few months, and after that, I get back to traditional MLM and started learning more about Internet Marketing... Today I'm promoting digital products as an affiliate marketer, and the commissions are higher... :D

Writing an ebook for someone to publish with their product. Contracted out five, 3-400 word articles, wrote an instruction manual for the product, designed an ebook cover and done. It was kind of fun doing it but I wouldn't like to depend on it to make a living.

I wrote an eBook and listed it on Amazon. I gave away a heap of them for free by promoting it over free eBook giveaway websites in the Amazon KDP Select Program. By the time it hit the market at full price it was selling and generating income.

I made my first $100 dollars in the first six months I started off. When I first started off I saw a sales copy and I was like yea this is easy so I made a product. Then I got mad when no one came and it ended up failing. Now looking back on it I am glad no one ever saw that product. I would have died of embarrassment. I was on alibaba one day and saw some of the pages. You know the ones the ones that you can clearly tell the vendors English skills are weak. I though to myself if I had a translation service I could make a ton of money off of these guys. So I bought a domain name and built a good looking webpage then I just started contacting these vendors. I made more in one hour doing that then I made in six months. I was surprised when they came back and asked me to do more pages. I learned something very important if you see a marketplace that needs something in this case a translation service you just provide a good service for them then tell them about it. I do not miss doing that though it was a lot of hard work but it made a lot of money for me.

What's up guys! Top of the midnight morning to you. So, I had a pretty disappointing day as Uber Suggest heavily changed it's format and wasn't the Uber Suggest I knew and loved. That tanked me yesterday, but I've decided to get up and keep plowing. Anyways, when I was revising my strategy for the day after, I thought of this topic and I kicked myself for not posting this earlier. How did you guys make your first sale? If you could give me insight on anything that led to your business taking off, I would love, love, love to know. Keyword? SEO? Some specific strategy? Lay it on me. I'm an open book. |

My first sale I made way back in 2005 I think where I was selling a flippa auction letter on fiverr. I made good money with it, then started doing CPA and that created me a reliable income. But Bro before I made my first dollar I had lost $1,300 just trying stuff buying from product to the other. But quitting was not in my book. Anyway the fiverr method also come from a $7 ebook but the only different is I had attended by that time a webinar of Frank Kern and Tony and then understood the shiny object syndrome. that webinar changed me and from there on I am happy to say I lost no more. Currently I have Ecommerce Businesses Thriving, CPA Campaigns Thriving, Coaching Happy Students, Making my own Products learning from the Dissapointing products I had bought and Addning the making it happen factor. I am happy and Happy to share this story with you. Thank You Sameer |

I made my first $100 online with google Adsense, back in feb 2008. It took about 2 days to make that $100+. I had bought a high traffic entertainment website and monetized it through cpc ads. The site was ranking high in google for it’s main keyword.

Sold a bunch of British toys on ebay when I first moved to NYC in 2000. They would be going for $30 that night and wake up the next day to see bids over $200. I think a lot of people on here probably made their first money selling household items online. I then created a 2 x dvd info product which I sold via myspace, (before the days of facebook) I used a simple myspace adder to add new friends every day and then post the link with a comment on their pages - made my first $100 within a week, I realized that the info product was very niche orientated so there would definitely be a ceiling in earnings, so after that I got into drop shipping and e-commerce stores, made $0 my first year $17,000 the 2nd year and $25,000 the third year before I sold it on Flippa At that one the product was not something you could buy from Walmart or Target, however Amazon started selling them, cheaper than i could get from my supplier so it was time to get out Now I do affiliate marketing selling information combined with my own info products. |
