I made mine with Ebay Partner network. Put together a niche site with phpBay Pro. Got into the whole thing after buying the Niche Blueprint course. That was all about ecommerce and stuff and I never could get that side of things to work...so I switched over to ebay. I was real lucky too. Those Niche Blueprint guys told us to base our decision on whether or no to build a site around a keyword on "phrase match" data from Market Samurai or the Google Keyword Tool. What a joke man...I've NEVER seen traffic on a site reflect phrase match numbers...but exact match figures seem pretty on-point. |

For me it was Clickbank. Digital products pay well, but I find they are harder to convert than Amazon or other physical products.

I made my first Bennie just a couple months ago via Clickbank and doing a review type website. Before that I struggled with CJ and still have only earned $14 to this day. CPA I finally got a couple bucks recently and still a big fat goose egg for anything dealing with Amazon. I think I found my forte... |

First $100 online actually came from promoting pay per download links. "Pay per download" as in I got paid everytime a file was downloaded. The site I used stopped its affiliate program though...

Hey, that's good. I heard "oil scalping" works wonders. I know a friend who makes $400-$700 in just 10 min. when enter the stock market. He can do this consistently every single day. Not bad for just 50-10 min. work. It involves almost no risk. I think "technical analysis" education is needed in order to play this game :-) |

This is a fun thread. My very first $100 made from the internet came from the original, the one and only...eBay. That's where it all started and snowballed massively...I've come a long way since and couldn't be happier. |

| Ive not, I'm overwhelmed with trying to figure how to make money online, I have a Masters Degree and can't make it work. I blew over 5k a few years ago on a coaching site from a hype seminar. Still trying to pay for that. I lost my General Manager JOB 2 days before Thanksgiving, and the unemployment rate is near 20% in my Kentucky county, so there is not many prospects with more businesses closing. I feel the internet is my best opportunity but my wife hates it when I sit and try to learn anything, she is afraid I will get scammed again. She says: "if it's not free... then you are not doing it, you can spend only the money you make online." I'm at my wits end on what to do:confused:, the little that I have done this year does not even meet the payout threshold to get a check. Will anyone teach me to fish, or should I just throw in the towel and be the guy with Masters Degree that greets people at Walmart? |

Interesting one! I spent over £2000 before making my first £100 from selling Amazon high ticket item from one of my sniper websites. That website is still making me consistent £250 /month, although I have dozen of them. Good thing about breaking the jinx of not making a dime as an internet marketer is that once you get a grip of how you could make your first $20, all you just do is to rinse and repeat. Before you know it, especially when you have a system in place, you're just few steps to attaining you 5to 6 figure income.

I made my first $100 online 10 years ago in the early days of search engines and SEO. It was off a few Marlon Sanders products. I had a marketing directory site that combined rss news feeds for marketing/business topics, a keyword-rich marketing directory (which scraped Lycos and Alta Vista for my search results, Baahhhh!) integrated with an advertising platform. Sold ad space to businesses. I had an articles section and Top 10 List of the best marketers and their associated affiliate offerings It was pretty cutting edge for back then. My Alexa rank got down to 27,000! To be honest, things really haven't changed much in a decade as far as the core principles of making money online. Sure, there's a lot more competition now BUT there's a ton more opportunities too. Especially for the regular Joe and Josephina. Over the last 6 years I've been focusing on local offline marketing and it's been a blast turning small businesses on to their first page 1 search listings. BTW, great thread. I'm enjoying the variety of responses.

Simply marketing affiliate products through google adwords. Of course that was back in the day when adwords was not nearly as saturated and Google made advertising affiliate links nearly impossible...Haaa those were the good ol days lol.

I actually made my first hundred selling on eBay. I was doing not bad there for awhile. But what is interesting is, I currently no longer sell much on eBay. It is a good little business for sure, I just tired of all the packaging and shipping, it became a lot of work and I never got the right automation into play It was still good though, I learned a lot about selling, customers and became familiar with the vastness of the Internet Marketplace! |

There are lots of ways to make $100, and we not need to tell you how. You already have about 1012 ways in here. Why not just pick one of them and go nuts and make it work. The way to make $1000 a day is to pick something that works a $100 a day, and keep using it. Upscale and outsource, then outsource more. So that is what you need to do. |

I made my very first $100 online by freelancing. It includes all of those admin jobs, forum management/moderating stuffs and I must say its all worth it. I have used the money I earned to fund the domains I want to buy and for my hosting too. I still freelance every now and then even while I am in my business. Ryuchi |

i started 1999 but was online 1996 joined here by 2002 we built html websites. welistened to willie crawford, allen says, and some others many of we oldsters were also members of the affiliates club and they taught squeeze pages but didn't call them that way back then. Forum marketing, articles, classifieds, ebay.. old hat stuff still works ... but you will make large sums by having a list and doing limited sales.

I popped a video onto Youtube in a niche i know a lot about, the video was a still is simply a hook, people then click through to a squeeze page where they can then either buy a video series for $9.97 or they can leave there details for a FREE report (they are then sent auto responder messages reminding them of the videos) It is totally automated, it works like clockwork, it has been up and running for a few years and still is today, it brings in automated cash week in week out and is just one of the systems i use All the best Steven |
