I made my first dollar online when I was young with a program called AllAdvantage. Basically you installed an adbar that would show rotating ads on the screen while you surfed the internet. Companies would pay AllAdvantage to advertise and in turn they would pass a tiny fraction on to you. I think I made $144 in total through that program in the time I used it (which wasn't very long). I still remember getting the cheque in the mail.

I honestly cannot remember when I earned my first $1 online. I do remember earning about $10 or $20 with an MLM business selling nutrition products. At that time I used PPC Google advertising. In those days Google ads were more affordable.

Recently (July 2014) I earned my first $100 (actually $170) using solo ads to drive traffic to an optimized sales funnel.

And between July - November 2014 I earned $1350 with that strategy.

I calculated that with 30 customers a month I could earn $3,000 or more driving quality niche traffic to the sales funnel, so I'm testing out different methods other than solo ads to achieve that goal.

The sales funnel is as follows: a low priced front end product > 2 to 3 related up sells >. a recurring income product > high ticket back end products.

It is really hard to earn the first dollar from the Online sector. After 3 months trying & trying I earned my first earning from the online sector. After earning the dollar, I was so excited. It inspired me to work more & more. Then I give full time to earning money from this sector. Finally I found it is one of the good way of earning without any doubt. I earned my first dollar while freelancing on Elance, and that was only two weeks after I made the profile on the site. Freelancing can actually be very financially beneficial if you have something to offer!

It was selling a clickbank product on google groups back in the day. I worked hard and hard at that and made a sale here and there with maybe weeks in between.

My second experience which was very exciting for me was sending some traffic to adsense ads.

Made a killing. Spent 20 bucks in around 2 hours but had over $400 in my google account.

I did that for around 4, 5 months till I didn't keep up with their terms and got my account suspended. The day before a huge, insane deposit was about to take place.

Actually I logged into my back saw the money wasn't there when it usually has been and went to check and had the big slap in the face.

All a fun experience but gave me the insight and understanding of the power that we have here. At this point how do you not make a dollar online?

VIZ: You went to which Affiliate Product Site , and why that one ???? and how did you exactly select the Affiliate product your promoted ???? I am only asking this because I am certain the purpose of this thread is to be helpful to all other Newbies who have joined this magnificent, Warrior Forum, and if that is its objective, to be helpful, your simply saying, that you, like the 1000's of others, who keep saying ,that they made their first $ by selling an Affiliate Product, and using Adsense I find, on its own, is not very helpful at all. And presently I am editing a number of Gurus one hour Seminars, who all say they are going to help us make money on line, designed to hypnotise and amaze, and then emotionally motivate easch of us to buy their products, and then for say 46 miniutes of the hour, tell us how it will "change our lives" when we make millions online, but spend so little time giving is a straight forward list and exact explanation as to what to do. And sincerly, I do not submit this now as, intended to be, a crticism of your your being willing to post on the Warrier Forum, but only to encourage you to share with us the full story of what you have learnt, and applied and done. The big pitch across the Web now, seems to be, you can easily make millions but only after you have engaged us (for a considerable sum) as your mentor. Whatever detail that you may be willing to share, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Marcus. I made my first $1 promoting a Clickbankweight loss product by advertising on Craigslist. [Note: You can't do that on Craigslist anymore. It was free advertising then and it worked.]

The money I made had no cost or overhead, just time to learn the strategy from a free product online and implementing. What's the ROI on that? Infinite maybe?

I don't do adsense anymore. I think stopped that a few years ago now. That site now sells ads and I have not touched it been honest for a while. Not a big earner but pays for some bills while I do my own job as a web designer.

Geez, that's a great question. My first EVER check was a $7 from Adsense as well. Back then I had no clue about duplication and scale. My second ever commission was from AWeber for just over $35. But to answer your question it probably didn't happen till after 2 1/2 years in when I created a 3 page funnel and some training videos on a plugin I purchased on JVZoo. The worst and best part of it was, I was working out of coffee shops EVERYDAY because I was living out of my car. Those days were really hard to just trust that I would one day start to figure this thing out!

I wish I had gotten around some people who were WILLING to HELP ME at first and not just out to make a few bucks. As you have probably figured... this whole industry can be shady.

Great question guys.

It took me about 4 years ;-) I had this really small forum about Britpop music... I basically knew every member (thats how small the community was)... hence it took for ever to make some money with adsense.

Shortly after I started blogging and things changed quickly. Especially because of paid articles.

Now it's not even worth the effort unless you have a good source for books and know what to buy and when. Used to be a brainless and easy way to make money buying almost any book for $0.10 and turning it into $25+.

In the dail-up period i started several websites with the "geobuilder" of geocities. Some year later and 100's of crappy sites further i received my first 250$ cheque thru some kind of high CPC program called clickfusion ( this was around the year 2000 ).

You can imagine i told all the world about it at that time hehe.

I achieved my first $100 day in 2007 when I started writing short reports

I achieved my first $1000 day in 2013 with a software product I released

I have pretty much consistent $3k months and an occasional $5k month

My next goal is to have a $10k month -- maybe in 2016?

I know you didn't ask for all of that but I thought I'd share.

I made my 1st ($425.00) online in just few days (after much trial and error I finally devised a repeatable business model).

At the time I had NO product, NO website, NO list, and ZERO money to invest...Then on the advice of another marketer, I created my 1st WSO revealing how I did it. It made WSOTD.

Meanwhile another big name marketer took notice and offered to JV with me to co create products which also went on to great success (along with 2 more of my own WSO's).

Now I'm NOT going to list that 1st WSO here (nor any of my products) as I do not wish to spam. My only purpose here is to illustrate how suddenly things can change to the positive for you if you keep learning and keep making effort!

Wow !!! are you using adsense in your videos???? Something is wrong If you have an adsense account you should have made some money by now

First $100 from Amazon Associates was 4 months.
First $100 from Adsense took a few years.
First $100 from Youtube took 4 months.

Amazon Associates and Youtube have more growth potential than Adsense.

to earn money fast need to invest money and advertise it's a bitter truth but a reality,i am making an average of 51$ per day easily without any skills at all
