Where to find affiliates for my product?

Hello Warriors,

I've recently finished creating a video series in the baby shower niche and I am looking for some affiliates.

Any ideas where I can find people to promote my product?

Thank you all

Many of the affiliate networks like CJ and LinkShare have existing networks and if you use them they will promote your stuff to their affiliates. Unless you have a great offer its hard to gain attraction and its rather pricey. Best to participate in affiliate forums and establish yourself recruiting that way.

On your home page you can have a place for affiliate. If your home page is receiving enough traffic, sales and above all your products is great, some of your customers will come to promote your product.

I agree, check out the networks, and don't be afraid to ask the people from the networks for help. If your site is quality, often times they will walk you through the whole thing.

Hi, aizaku! I would recommend you to use clickbank (clickbank.com) - it's probably the largest network designed for vendors and affiliates. Also their priority is digital products (like the video series that you have) and i see that your product probably fits to their "parenting and families" category.

I think this is where you are supposed to list any affiliate programs you have to offer. It is a room dedicated to affiliate programs only.

      Affiliate Program Database

      Hope this helps.

      Good luck,

So, you can obviously use DigiResults (The best part is that it's free of cost, at least, as far as I know they only take some commission after a sale). If you can invest some money, ClickBank is without a doubt the best option for you. Hope this helps.

BTW, I almost forgot, some even use PayDotCom for finding affiliates. Never been a big fan of this, but, probably worth giving a try.

So your product is a series of videos that educates people in some way? If so, you can, of course, put in on Clickbank and if it is a good one, you should get many affiliates eager to promote it.

JVNotifyPro would be a good start. Mainly people use it for IM launches, but recently I have seen a few health and fitness launches popping up, could be a good start for finding potential affiliates.

Yeah CPA and linkshare all the sites are gonna work for you ...

If you want some more affiliates ...

Try doing a google search and find some similar sites on the same niche.
And check out on their site that they are allowing advertising on their site or are they using Adsense to generate revenue for their site..
If you see any adsense ads on their site .. BINGO .. you just hit a jackpot ..
Contact them and tell them about your product and tell them to try and test your product add your product to their site and see which ads make more money .. Your Product or their adsense ..

And the best part you can do this easily and repeat the process ..

Pretty simple huh and also its 100% free process .. You will find some lot more good affiliate's with this strategy.

Good luck just give it a try ...

If you have a good product and can pay high commissions then no better place than forums. at forums you'll find excellent marketers than can start selling your products within short time. in my opinion forums is one of the best place to get affiliates.

submitting your product affiliate networks is an option but will take long time before you find affiliates.

Great stuff. So if I pay the $50 on Clickbank, can I expect it to take off on its own?

My recommendation is to use clickbank. It's only $50 to get a seller's account. They handle all the payments to affiliates and have many other benefits.

You can contact forum owners and web site owners that get a lot of traffic for your target audience and invite them to join your affiliate program.

      Here are a few ways...

      1. Find fellow product owners in your market - CB, PDC, RAPBank etc.

      2. Find others publishing articles in your market - on EzineArticles.com for example.

      3. Find bloggers in your market.

      4. Find people promoting your competitors products.

      5. Find people with YouTube videos in your market.

      6. Find email list publishers in your market.

      7. Place an ad in the WF Affiliate section.

      8. Turn customers into affiliates?

      9. Put a link to your Affiliate sign up page on your salespage.

      Hope this helps.

Hi Kal B, and others, well yes and no!

My first offer did automatically get affiliates, after giving them high quality product images, and 3 different banners, and access to my professional sales video, etc. With only about 20 people at most selling it, with no sales!

My second attempt, (this time with strong research to back it up) did much better and attracted about 80 affiliates, with two sales so far, and one backend product sale; which proved that the backend product was a good choice!

So it can automatically happen after product research, developing a quality product, (that overdelivers) that people want, and giving affiliates everything that you can to help them in selling your product.

After l add more bonus products and raise the price, then l can advertise at a profit, and attract more affiliates through a higher gravity, etc.

So you can automatically attract affiliates, but in my case, l copied a typical Clickbank campaigns setup, (high quality graphics, sales video, etc) and developed a quality product, (which typically takes a month of hard work to set up the whole thing) and l tend to get good results.

And you don't have to go to 5 star extremes, (like l do) a basic campaign header, text product graphic is enough to achieve the same result.

      But the extras do help!

Good advice Shane, I think the biggest issue with Clickbank is the lack of 100% commision to motivate affiliates
