I am constantly reading about how important it is to have a list to promote to and that "the money is in the list". There is plenty of information written on how to build a list and how to promote your squeeze page but the one thing you hardly ever read is information about what to promote to your list or how to promote to your list over time.

Let's say you build a list of subscribers based on the dog training niche. I think if you're lucky you can probably five 5 or so useful products to promote to your list. After you have recommended all 5 of those products, what do you do after that, scrap your list? Outside of I.M., I can't find too many niches that have a constant supply of new products to promote.

Any info is appreciated. Thank you.

The key with your list is not to sell, sell, sell its to offer value. Put yourself in their position and think about you opening up your emails. Offer useful content in most of your emails. When your list starts to build some trust they will be more open to hearing your recommendations on what to buy.
