How Long Did It Take You Until You Made $100 Online?

@ Arran Rice, could you sum up how you got to $100/day or what strategies worked best for you? I've been in internet marketing for 8 months (mostly learning and finding my way) but haven't made even $1 yet. But i am determined.

Less than an hour.

Here is what happens with most people. They wake-up and realize that there are billions of people on the Internet, and figure out that if they can tap into that massive amount of people, they can make more money, and make it from home.

The problem is that most of these people:

1. Have little or no money,
2. Have little or no successful sales & marketing experience,
3. Have little or no appropriate technical experience.


So, for example, if you have #1 and #2 in droves, then you can outsource #3 and have huge profit in less than an hour.



But, most people get stuck:

1. Trying to figure out how to get started, then
2. Trying to get the first technical aspects done, then
3. Trying to get traffic...



So, they go back and:

1. Look for other ways to make money, or "the real" way,
2. Find something else, get excited, and start trying it,
3. Get stuck in the technical part, but this time get past it with help,
4. Get stuck getting "traffic",
5. Ask questions about tracking and what numbers they should have,
6. Keep trying a little bit,
7. Stumble on some new method that sounds exciting, and start trying it.


...And they skip around like this for weeks, or months, or even years, getting frustrated and suffering from "information overload" as well as "broke bank account" and similar pains.



Really, it's simple. This guy you may have heard of, Bill Gates, he said in 1995 that "The Internet is not going to belong to the Techies, it is going to belong to the Marketers."


So here is what really needs to be done:

1. Master the ability to really sell things to people.
(because money comes from people wanting to buy things)

2. Get some money to outsource some of the technical aspects of your business.
(because even if you know how, it's time consuming)

3. Enjoy the profits.
(because that's the whole point, right?)

thats some really nice numbers. can you explain how you manged to accomplish such a thing? its a big goal for many people

its took me about 3 months which of course was not pure profit.. i spend about twice that amount in advertising alone. However noting beats experience.

In three months you've achieved a steady 3k+/month? That would be pretty impressive...

It took me around two months to earn my first 100 bucks. It was a difficult task; I made all my money from forum posting and doing some blog commenting.

Less than a month... Payperpost.com =) But that was almost seven years ago... they have much more strict policies now...

Back in the day, you could even do posts on LiveJournals... hhahah

Under 2 months in my part. When I built my first website, I bought an Adsense Secrets and 100k Adsense Blueprint. I read those two books and apply what I learn then it earns me $100/day.

8 months!

I did almost everything back then: Blogs,
CPA, Adsense, Web Design (freelancing) etc.

Learned a lot from my first $100.
