How to get affiliates and JV's to market my e-book?

Hello! I have newly created an e-book targeting people that for some reason need to make money. It's a quality product and i am sure it would be easy to sell IF i could just reach out with the e-book. That's the hard thing.

I have started a JV thread here but no response. Almost every hour i can see how other people makes millions via clickbank and their e-books.

Could anyone give some advices and maybe help me?

Thanks!

That should be easy to get the press for it since you're Justin Bieber.

That's smart but at the same time it feels like i must be able to succeed without doing that, i guess you really want the sales when it's the first time you release an e-book..

Putting up a JV thread isn't enough ...

You've gotta go out and HUSTLE!

You need friends in this business. You need to be in masterminds.

This might be an business you can do from home by yourself, but you need contacts to really make things "move".

      Great reply
But well, starting threads on this forum should be a good way to get some contacts right? What else except DP forums works as such a large network as this site?

I now understand how important an email list is, but everyone started from scratch right :O

    Yes everyone started from scratch.

    List building is extremely important.

You need to reach out to people and send some messages, and by that I don't mean junk.

I think you should start by changing your username. That's possible to do here on the WF and it's free. You can go to the help desk and request a ticket.

Even if Justin Bieber makes a lot of $, I'm sure that 99.99% of the Warriors wouldn't buy an eBook from him to learn how to make money.

To be honest that a good tip. I have requested a nickname change. Justin Bieber was just "too cool" to just don't take.

Also it needs to be a no brainer of an offer...i.e the less the affiliate has to do the greater the chance he or she will promote you...

Thanks man! You really gave me good advices. Searching for the competitors promoters was great idea!

Any more suggestions? Well, i have a question:

Is it usual that new e-books at all get discovered and picked upp by affiliates at Clickbank? I mean, it has to be a lot of products there, and should be hard to affiliates? But at the same time, it's a huge network of affiliates..

Some affiliates may pick it up from the marketplace naturally, but at the beginning this process will be too slow.

You are better off looking for affiliates yourself until the product begins to sell and more affiliates pick it up.

Another bit of advice...in approaching your potential JV's remember that its all about relationships.....take time to help them out and they will help you out....offer to write some content for their blog or promote a product to your list and they will be more likely to help you out.

        Good Luck

        Chris

There are many ways to get affiliates and JV's to market your ebook.
          1. Put it up on Clickbank and offer at least a 75% commission to entice potential affiliates. If you have testimonials from satisfied clients, include that in the sales copy as well.
          2. Put it up on Click2Sell Affiliate Network - Innovative Affiliate Marketing Network
          3. Sell it through JVZoo.com - Instant Commission Platform for Sellers and Affiliates
          4. Network with people here on the Warrior forum with big lists
          5. Give away review copies to editors of large ezines and depending on your relationship with them, you could ask them to market it to their lists
          6. Create versions of your ebook for the Kindle, iPad and Nook(and other popular tablets) and price them cheap for a start. When people start buying, you can start raising the price. Once you have a reasonable number of customers that have purchased from you, you could use this as a selling point to get other people to promote it for you. Then you can turn around and sell it through Paydotcom.com
          7. List it on Tradebit, e-library and ebookbay.com
The list goes on and on but you get the idea. Just start from somewhere and get the ball rolling and success will be yours. Congrats on your eBook. You can PM me for more ideas.

Thank you SO MUCH for your reply! Amazing! Great advices. I will definitely look into those advices! I love this forum already. Even though i had heard about it i did never register until now. And i don't regret it! It's exciting even if it is a lot of things to do before you can reach any success at all. And you really inspire me.

              Hi Justin,

I would suggest going to your Clickbank account and clicking on reports/ Analytics. You should see how many affiliates have sold or tried to sell your e-book.

My first product got about 12 people over a month, so suffice to say l didn't do any research, although it had videos, e-book, etc, and it wasn't very profitable.

My second idea that l had researched to death, has gotten almost 100 affiliates, with about 2 actually selling it.

I am in the process of adding some more products to the main one, so l can put up the price, and start selling it myself, which will attract more affiliates, by seeing the gravity go up.

Then l can use those sales to attract super affiliates, etc.

So, one step at a time, but l would check this, you may find that affiliates have tried to sell your product, but as l have found even with a low price point, and high perceived value, with high quality graphics, professional sales video, etc, results aren't stellar at the moment!

But l can see the potential!

              Good luck.

              Shane

Giving it away was the best advice. You need to give to receive and I'm not being a smart a__. People just don't help people without a name. If you were lucky and befriended a top JV then that would be gravy, but I wouldnt count on it and use it for marketing purposes.

Talk about your niche and refer to your ebook everywhere you go online. All of your social network connections should know that you have an ebook (and that they can get a "discount").

In the ebook itself, include that you offer an affiliate program. If the reader is interested, they may take on because they have experienced the product first hand.

My e-book is now approved on CB. Thanks again for all your advices. Anyway, in this situation, WITHOUT any email-list. What would you do to get in touch with people who own email-lists?

For example, my thread haven't get one single response here on this forum, and even if i understand that people just dont help if you haven't a wellknown name, i should start from somewhere.

To be honest, right now i wonder why i even created a e-book from the beginning..
