What are alternatives to Rapid Action Profits?

Hi,

I'm looking into complete systems to manage product sales, develop affiliate programs, and pay commissions. I know Rapid Action Profits can do all this for $200 initially, but the learning curve is steep.

As well, to get a robust system I'm told there are numerous plug-ins necessary, and this greatly adds to that cost.

Another option is, of course, Clickbank. While relatively simple, it has its own issues.

After that, Nanacast is $100 a month.

What else is available?

Thanks.

    So...

Digiresults, plimus and paygear all have easy programs to build affiliates?

Or, are there advantages to doing so with a separate app that is not tied to specific marketplace?

    Thanks.

there is also digital river but you need to distribute software, games and other similar warez.

And there are many benefits to a self hosted affiliate program but is also comes with more responsibility, for example you would need to send out 1099s to qualifying affiliates and maintaining the code if any bugs come.

you can also buy software with support and other options...

but a good option to start with could be hasoffers.com

    what is your product??

I've got one WSO out, StreetSmart Networking, two other products that relate to communication and conducting business, and others (various) now being created.

      Thanks.

I'm no expert but there are some pretty dramatic distinctions between RAP and the others.

Rapid Action Profits, the Seven Dollar Script and Warrior Plus are similar and all allow affiliates to be paid through PayPal immediately. That's their major advantage. None of the others mentioned do that. And Warrior Plus isn't meant to work outside of the WSO arena but there are ways around that.

And in my opinion Plimus isn't real user friendly. I think Clickbank has their issues but at least you can sign up easily and if you're product is ready you can literally have it approved within 48 hours. I had one approved last week in under 24. For my money Plimus it a convoluted maze of unnecessary hurdles that one may never quite complete.

    Jerry,

I use Rapid Action Profits, and I don't think "the learning curve is steep" per se.
There are things one needs to know, to gain the full benefit of RAP, but it is really
not too hard to spend a little time familiarizing one's self with most of the functions.

The Rapid Action Profits forum (which I help out a little at) is filled with answers to
questions people have asked, regarding the implementation of RAP. Depending on the
question, and (of course) the time it gets asked, a lot of questions get answered fairly
quickly. We have a very helpful community there.

As for the additional investments to get "a robust system", most (if not all) are one-off
purchases, able to be used on all the domains you own (as is RAP). You can set
up an "initial" sales site, then invest further with the sales made there, and add
the other features as you "grow".

    Anyway, HTH...

    Be Well!

One advantage of Digiresults over RAP is there are no setup charges.
You are also able to payout instantly to affiliates as well, just like RAP and 7DS

Like anything else, it seems there are advantages to each method. I've been to or in some have used al of the options so far listed.

I love the simplicity of Paygear and the built-in membership software, but I need to know more about them and have asked their support the first of many questions.

My main goal is to create WSOs and other products this year, and also to build community (a membership site) in two or three specific niches. So, the right tools are needed for that.

Also important will be the ability to build a large group of affiliates, and I know that instant payouts are attractive. I sure like them.

If one product or service doesn't do all that with the level of ease that I need, then I know I can use separate tools and be fine.

      Thanks.

Here's a few you can take a quick look at: Simple One Click, JV Zoo and Payspree.

All of these have built in affiliate programs that allow for instant payments to affiliates plus the fees are very low.

You can have your products listed and ready to take payments in minutes

      HI Robin,

There are no "setup" fees with either Digiresults nor with RAP.

There is a software licensing fee for RAP.

With Digiresults, there is no licensing fee, simply because Digiresults doesn't license their software for use on your server. They run a service whereby you may use the functionality of the software on their server - for a fee.

      In their words...
Vendors simply pay a .50 + 5% (.25 + 7.5% on sales less than $10) transaction fee on every sale.
Let's say you have a $27 product for sale. With Digiresults, your cost for each sale would be $1.85 in service fees to Digiresults. If you never plan to sell more than 100 copies of your product, it would be marginally less expensive than installing RAP on your own server, but then I would have to question why you even bother (that same 100 sales brings in gross revenue of only $2700).

Let's say that is sufficient revenue for one month. What about next month?

Another $2700 revenue, and another $185 in fees.

Twelve months of that level of sales/revenue ($32,400), costs you $2,200 in service fees to Digiresults (over 10X the one-time licensing fee for RAP).

      Hope this helps
