My post count isn't changing...

Hey all,

Am I missing something, or am I wrong in noting that my post count hasn't changed for the last 6-10 posts I have made?

I promise i have had nothing to drink in the last 24 hours so I am pretty sure I am right.

On some level I guess this isn't a big deal but it does seem strange.

Anyone else seeing this same issue?

Sam

    1. Either your posts were not appropriate (not likely, right?)

    OR

    2. You were posting in a forum where posts are not counted, such as the WSO forum.

    OR

    3. The monkey who has the job of turning over the post count is asleep on the job.

    OR

    4. You ARE drinking and you are so drunk you think you are not drinking... but you are.

    Will,

Hmmm.... Number three could be right on, but I am not sure (that is a problem itself isn't it!).

It used to be that no matter where you posted ANYTHING it raised your count. Now I see that has changed (for all I know that changed a year ago... hard to stay on top of what goes on within this great forum).

I suppose I should go back to work and not worry about these things.

    Onward & Upward!

True - and it became a problem as link spammers tried to post tripe in all the subforums. OT and WSO sections do not add to post count - maybe other sections such as "test" are the same. Not sure.

        Kay,

This is not at all surprising.

This forum has changed SO dramatically over the last 7 years. Frankly, it is an embodiment of the IM inducstry and what has happened within it as well.

        Thanks!

I was confused about why my posts weren't increasing as well, until I read that Off-Topic posts don't count... LOL
